When it debuted at the height of the Roaring Twenties, Rosewood Hotel Georgia established itself as the Canadian destination for entertainment royalty. Marlene Dietrich showed up with 40 of her suitcases, John Wayne sauntered over the threshold, and Bing Crosby topped a never-ending list of headline entertainers. British Columbia’s top radio station, CKWX, broadcasted from the penthouse for more than a decade. Today, after a 2011 renovation, old-world touches still glimmer in a thoroughly modern hotel, a revival of the Golden Age of Travel. There’s a funky, mosaic-tiled indoor pool and a gourmet room service menu that serves late into the night (you can thank Audrey Hepburn’s list of demands for that one).

Totally updated hotel. Awesome location within walking distance of many restaurants and parks. Our concierge Benjamin took care of any needs we had especially obtaining reservations at any one of the amazing restaurants Vancouver has to offer Breakfast everyday at the hotel was delicious with many menu options. A special shoutout to Stefan for his excellent service each morning The spa is beautiful with many treatment options and skilled masseuses. In spite of the rain we made rainbows and having the Rosewood as home base made for a wonderful vacation

This is one of the most wonderful, luxurious and amazing hotels we have stayed at. The staff are extremely professional and kind. The rooms are large and fit for royalty. We also used the large indoor pool that was great too, as well as having breakfast the next morning in the lobby area. Highly recommended!!

Loved this place, and great location for walking to shops and restaurants. The service at the desk was impeccable. Polite, efficient and friendly. And we loved our room. The Hawkseye restaurant downstairs had the best happy hour, lively and fun.

Our 4 night experience at this hotel was top notch in every way. We stayed in a junior suite which was huge and extremely comfortable. Having a half bath as well as the “spa like” main bathroom was very convenient. The room staff serviced our room beautifully, with turn down service every night that included cookies. Every staff member we encountered gave us extraordinary service. The breakfast in the 1927 longe was delicious and situated in a cozy environment. It is so easy to have breakfast at the hotel before a day of sightseeing. Our server Misa was outstanding. Two evenings, we had cocktails and bar bites in the lobby area. The food was great and there was a piano player singing. We enjoyed the music immensely. Christine who waited on us on a very busy Saturday night was also outstanding. She kept checking on us and anticipated our every need. I understand there is music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. We used the well equipped gym twice and Meet was so kind and friendly in helping us with the lockers and the pool area. Our valet/luggage attendant, Robert, remembered us from last year when we stayed for one night before our cruise. This exceptional young man was so attentive to our needs. He went out of his way to help us find a lost pair of sunglasses. This is the only hotel we would stay at in Vancouver. Loved every moment!

Stayed for three nights in August and we loved this place. A perfect location between town and the waterfront with everything in walking distance. The room had a wonderful view over the square and both bathroom and bed were fabulous (and I am super-fussy!!). Housekeeping was great as was the Concierge who got us into some great walkable restaurants. A really fabulous option.
