Loden Hotel Vancouver

When I grow up I want to be the snack manager for the Loden. With how often little treats appear during your stay, surely this must be a thing! The Loden was a 5 star experience start to finish. When we arrived, a staff member came right out and whisked our bags away to our room. The lobby isn't huge but is comfy with coffee in the morning and wine & snacks in the afternoon + tea & cookies all day. Our room (1001) was perfection. Spacious. Plenty of storage for your belongings. Beautiful view of the city. Quiet. Gorgeous bathroom with a deep spa tub and a great shower. But, it was the service that sets the Loden apart. Every staff member we interacted with was cheerful and seemingly happy to see us and interested in our trip and experience. Each evening turn-down service featured a new snack and fresh water. At the end of our stay our car was ready within 5 minutes of calling the front desk and our EV was returned fully charged. There were so many little stand-out details like this that set the Loden apart. Tableau is a great spot to grab breakfast, happy hour, or dinner. We found ourselves stopping in frequently. As with the hotel, service was wonderful. It was a refreshing change of pace as hotel guests to be treated truly as a "guest" and not as an imposition. We loved our stay and would happily return.

We were blown away by the superior level of service delivered by all staff members at our recent stay at the Loden Hotel. The accommodations were really wonderful! We were in the King Signature Corner room, which was very roomy and offered great views of the city from it's expanse of windows on two sides. The bathroom and amenities were lovely. We especially enjoyed the Belgian truffles! I can't think of a single thing that could have been done to improve our stay and would definitely stay there again should we travel again to Vancouver.

Wow. What a great experience we had. We were greeted so warmly and we enjoyed exceptional treatment and need-anticipation the entire time. Beautiful facility. Top-notch management and staff. Associated restaurant was delicious and carried the theme of "excellence" clearly, as a badge of pride. We are planning a trip for the next birthday (May, look out, David!) in our clan and are all anticipating another experience with their fabulous hospitality!

We have stayed at the Loden for years, and can honestly say that we have never received better service anywhere else. The staff is absolutely incredible in their devotion to making your stay as comfortable as possible; they go out of their way to make you feel like you're a part of their family! The rooms are gorgeous, exceptionally clean, and the beds are so comfortable that you will likely have the best sleep of your life. This most recent stay we had the absolute pleasure of staying in the penthouse suite and it blew us away. It was stunningly beautiful, and the large outdoor deck and living room would make it a great place to host an intimate gathering, business meeting, or the like. The location is also perfect for pretty much whatever you would like to do in Vancouver. Our most recent trip was for a conference at the Vancouver Convention Centre, and it's only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It's also very close to Stanley Park and to some great shopping areas. There's a Starbucks right next door, and another fantastic little coffee shop a half block away. As for the food, it's within walking distance of many great restaurants, but you really don't have to go anywhere because Tableau Bistro is exceptional. We eat there every time we stay at the Loden, and the food has been amazing every single time. We've stayed at a number of different hotels in Vancouver in the past, but as of a few years ago we only stay at the Loden, and for good reason. Overall it's always such an exceptional and relaxing experience. The service and care is second to none. Once again, thank you to Irina, Stanislav, David, Marie, and all the other staff that make us feel so welcome and taken care of whenever we stay here!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Loden Hotel on March 3, 2025. As loyal Fairmont Platinum customers but we decided to try the Loden and compare our experiences. The Loden did not disappoint and far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted at the door and the check-in process was seem less and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our car was valeted and our bags were brought up to the room in minutes. We brought our dog and the room was set up for her with a bed, bowl, treat and everything she needed. The room was lovely with a corner view of Melville St. Downtown. Our departure was effortless with the help the the professional and friendly staff. After we left we got a call saying that a suit bag was left in the room and how could they best assist us in returning it. We turned around and came back to The Loden and it was handed to us quickly in the lobby. We would give The Loden Staff and hotel a 10/10 for the staff, price point and downtown location. We have unfortunately never been able to do at The Fairmont. We will be back and highly recommend The Loden to our friends and family. Maria and James Austin
