Paradisus Princesa del Mar Resort & Spa

Another great trip to Cuba. Two weeks this time. The flight from Vancouver was through Toronto and we didn't want to chance a delay and lost day, so my beautiful wife suggested two weeks. Carlos made our stay. He's like an "energizer bunny" that never rests. We would start our day at the Royal Breakfast (we were upgraded to the Royal side. Thank you Paradisus) with incredible service from Nurian and Yaima, big smiles at the Omelet bar from Yeni every morning (I had eggs over easy, and my wife had a specialty omelet), Smiles from our housekeeper, and then to the beach. Not the Royal Beach as we like a little more excitement. Stretching lead by Carlos at 10:30am, Beach Volley Ball lead by Carlos at 11:00, to the Pool at 12:30/1:00 a light snack in the buffet for fruit, veg, and a protein (always multiple choices of chicken, shrimp, clams, muscles, etc.) Pool games (again run my Carlos) I hope you are all seeing a pattern with Carlos at the head of the excitement. Al A Carte restaurants for dinner. Japanese one of our favorites. Hill Top (international) a close second with different menu's almost every night, Italian and French rounding out the choices. Beach, and Pool Bar (great bartender service from Yolexi, Maday, etc. etc. etc. (forgot names)) Lobby, Piano Bar (live piano music) and the Cigar Bar for drinks before and after dinner and before and after the nightly shows. Wake up the next day and do it again...We went off site one morning for a look at the local caves (more of a cenote, then a cave) and snorkeling at a nearby reef (highly recommend. so many fish, safe, etc.). We were waiting for a bad weather day to do more off site days, but didn't have any. WOW. Special mention to the other Entertainer Staff - Loudy, Kevin, Brenda. Always big smiles and a fist bump, high five, and hug (Brenda). USD seem to be the tip currency, but any others are also appreciated. Gifts are also welcomed with hugs and smiles. We recommend this resort and will return.

We have never been to this resort before but will be returning. There were no shortages of food, paper products or drink. We were welcomed from the time we arrived till the time we left. Rooms were clean. pool area ,lobby and restaurants were all in top shape. Beach area was great and no shortages of chairs. We made many friends with staff and other visitors. The entertainment in the Lobby was excellent. We will go back again!! We were in building 6 third floor with garden view it was clean and quiet. Mattress was very comfortable.

Kevin and Dariele were awesome entertainment directors. Made our stay very enjoyable and entertaining. Always had fun activities planned at the pool. They worked very hard to make sure guests were entertained and occupied. They are very hard working and want to ensure all their guests are very happy.

Fabulous resort and superior service! Stayed on the Royal side. Friendliest staff ! Yaima and Nurian in the Royal Buffet were exceptional! Pool bartenders were great! The butlers Jazz and Randy provided top notch service! We will be back!

This is my second time coming and I will be coming back again. Very clean, very friendly staff , always happy to see you. One of my favourite people are Laudy( entertainment) always smiling and taught me how to be a better dancer!! I highly recommend coming here
