Melia Grand Hermitage

We had one of the most carefree holidays at this hotel. We chose this hotel because it has consistently held one of the highest ratings on the Bulgarian seaside for many years, and it is renowned for its constant quality of service and professionalism from staff at all levels. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and the reception staff were amazing and very helpful. The level of service truly matched that of a 5-star hotel. The bars and restaurants offered an excellent variety of high-quality food and drinks. The hotel has two large main restaurants providing a vast selection of fresh, well-prepared dishes, including various international cuisines. There was always a tasty variety of meats, salads, fruits, and desserts. Even as someone particular about coffee, I found the coffee to be of very good quality. The hotel boasts huge outdoor spaces, including a pleasant garden area and different types of pools. The pools were accessible at all times, never overcrowded, and conveniently located near outdoor bars. Additionally, the hotel has its own private beach area, where there were always sun loungers and umbrellas available. The entertainment programme at the hotel was exceptional, with a very professional and high-standard offering tailored for all ages. The animation team provided plenty of engaging activities for both children and adults, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The evening shows were also of top-notch quality and very professional. The restaurant staff were always friendly and greeted us with a smile. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. Housekeeping was diligent, with the rooms cleaned regularly, and the outdoor areas and restaurants were also very well maintained. Tips: The hotel features several smaller, themed restaurants (Bulgarian, Italian, and American) that are open on specific evenings. The food there is excellent, but it is necessary to book in advance, which I recommend doing as soon as you arrive. Some sports activities are also in high demand, so keep an eye on the announcement board to secure your bookings. The staff speak English and other European languages, which made communication seamless. Overall, this was an unforgettable holiday at a truly high-class hotel. The outstanding service and fantastic professional management made all the difference. We can’t wait to return in 2025!

Fantastic 5 star hotel. We upgraded to Level and had access to all restaurants and pools. Not far from the beach and shops. Food was fantastic, rooms very comfortable especially the beds. Staff were exceptional and very friendly. The only downside was the distance between Burgas airport and the hotel. But would recommend.

The whole experience was excellent. The rooms are clean, large and airy, same goes for the bathrooms. The spacious balcony was a great added bonus. Decently sized outside pool. Food was also diverse and for all diets. But the best part were the activities, not to mention the animators. A fantastic team of engaging people, filled with energy and humor. They're definitely tops!

All the praises for the Animation team!! They were amazing, very charismatic, had an intoxicating energy about them, were always friendly and we had a lovely time in their company! They made every game, every song, every joke a great experience and we want to thank them and congratulate them for their performance! ❤️

Family friendly hotel. Food was very good and diversified. The night shows for kids and for adults were very entertaining, especially we got to see the last “Mamma Mia” show of this summer and it was gorgeous ! Edi and the Turkish guy from the entertainment team are the best ! My CS:GO buddies !
