Pyotr Ilyich Tchiakovsky is one of the notable guests who have stayed at Hotel Londra Palace – he composed the first three movements of Symphony No. 4, originally titled "Do Leoni," in Room 106. Maybe the islands and 16th Century architecture he saw across the watery horizon inspired him. Rooms are individually decorated with ornate fabric walls and Biedermeier furniture, while the restaurant – named Do Leoni – serves Venetian classics under crystal chandeliers.

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond. They arranged a very early water taxi pickup to get us to the airport. At 7pm the night before, they called our room to let us know that fog was predicted for the next morning and we would need to take a car to the airport. They then arranged for private car transport. We would have been stuck without their foresight. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, despite the bustle and noise of the street and canal right outside. We booked the least expensive city view room but were upgraded to a premium double balcony canal view room right at the front upon checkin. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The included breakfast is very good, with fresh juice. Would stay again if we return to Venice!

We stayed at the Londra Palace for 3 nights after ending our cruise in Venice. We booked the lowest price city view room, but were upgraded to a premium double wide balcony room with a view of the Guidecca canal upon arrival. The street and waterfront outside were very noisy but our room was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. A minifridge was stocked with beverages and snacks, which were resupplied throughout our stay. There were plentiful and comfortable public lounge areas, as well as a small bar and outdoor terrace for drinks and snacks. Beware they do charge the “cover charge” which is customary for Venice, but which I feel should be waived for their hotel guests. Location is excellent, easy walk to St. Marks square and all the busy tourist spots, but also right next to a quieter residential area with many quiet squares and excellent restaurants and cafes. For transportation, there is a major water bus stop as well as taxi stand and gondola service right out front. Staff were able to arrange a very early morning taxi pickup for the airport (3:15) and even went out of their way to alter arrangements when they found out it would be foggy and we would need to take a car for part of the way. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in the future if visiting Venice.

My wife and I arrived late on Oct 9th. We were greeted by a young lady and a gentleman who was the concierge at 11 pm. I did not get their names but I'm sure Londra Palace can verify who was working that night. They both along with the gentleman that took our luggage to our room made an outstanding impression of friendless and service for LPV. That young lady is absolutely sunshine as well as the gentleman who was working as the concierge that late evening of arrival on Oct 9th. During our stay from Oct 9th to Oct 16th 2024...all the staff were wonderful and they made my 60th birthday memorable. Londra Palace is an outstanding hotel that was truly exceptional in every aspect of customer service...from our room, to service in the onsite restaurant and the staff that worked in the lobby...service was exceptional in every aspect.
