This hotel is gorgeous and the location is great, it’s not a busy area but so much to do and see in 5 minutes walk. There’s lots around. The rooms are large and spacious, very clean, a little bare but lovely. We had a few perks via our Amex but sadly they couldn’t adhere to them (early check in or room upgrade). Great bathroom (no bath) and thank you for the champagne treat for my birthday :) The reason for not for 5 star experience is unfortunately my husband got sick on the trip. I didn’t find the staff very helpful - maybe a language barrier - but they weren’t hugely accommodating. They did offer breakfast but he was so sick he couldn’t eat a thing or leave the room. We ideally wanted them to sort an extra night for him and help with pharmacy’s etc (as I had to rush back to the UK). But he ended up checking out. I don’t think they weren’t caring but the communication wasn’t great.

AMAZING hotel, newly refurbished, super friendly staff and welcome bubbles, big ample breakfast including a la carte options, fast communication pre-arrival to help arrange everything. Highly recommended hotel for anyone going to Venice
