This was our first time in Venice and we are sure it was made even more dreamy by staying at the St. Regis. We arrived by water bus and walked an easy five minute walk to this non descriptive courtyard and then the world transformed when we walked through the doors of the St. Regis. The bellman, concierge, check in staff were all terrific and so welcoming, like we were visiting their home. The beauty, the different rooms in the lobby, the artwork, just everything was stunning. We were shown to our room and shortly thereafter our bags arrived. The room was a big WOW. We were facing the grand canal and had a magnificent patio, I almost wished Venice was not so enchanting so I could of spent more time in my room. Every thing you could possibly want to have in your room was available, nespresso machine, insta hot water kettle, coziest slippers, robes, water, luxurious bath products, etc…, etc…., etc…. The buffet breakfast was so good, sitting on the grand canal and every type of food you could want for breakfast at your disposal. The staff was attentive, friendly and just added positivity to the experience. The location was perfect, short walk to sites, water taxis, exploring Venice was the best part of our European adventure. We hope to return to Venice one day and I think it would be hard to stay anywhere but the St. Regis.

After 20 years from my first time in Venice I had the pleasure to stay again in this property as St.Regis Hotel. I was upgrade in a very nice room, my breakfast was included. Before my arrival the entire Butler Anastasia, Giulia, Maria Cristina, Francesca staff had been always great in assisting me. Philippe the front office manager was very accommodating as well as his entire team and also the Concierge Staff with great tips At the breakfast Maria, Carlotta, Luca, Sergio made me feel home away from home. Always be at disposal for a smile suggesting what to eat and take and accommodating all request before asking. As I guest I have to say that I could not expect a better service. As guests we have to remember that those people they do their best to accommodate our needs, but we do not have to forget that there are human

We spent five nights at the St Regis. Our room was lovely. It overlooked the grand canal and had a beautiful balcony. The hotel provided exceptional service, was clean and well maintained. We loved the location for easy walking, water taxis and fantastic views. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic greeting on arrival by water taxi and brilliant the way we were escorted to the check in area. Beautiful hotel and excellent service from front of house including the concierge and the three gentleman who opened the door when we went out or came back. Always friendly and professional at the same time. We stopped in a Grand Deluxe room which was nice but quite small. That’s standard in Venice but the quality of the furnishings and the ambience of the hotel and the room made it OK. If we had criticism to raise it would be in relation to housekeeping, the bathroom and the restaurant menu. We got back to our room a couple of times in the mid afternoon to find the room not serviced. We were there for four nights and that’s a bad hit rate. We went along with the ecological idea of not replacing bed-linen until the 3rd day but ours wasn’t changed at all. We saw that because I spilled some coffee on day one and the sheet was still on the bed on day five. The second was the bathroom which had underfloor heating with no ability to turn down the temperature. It was much too hot 24/7 and meant the bathroom was uncomfortably hot. Finally the dining room menus were not as varied as they perhaps could be. The staff, service and food quality were excellent but we decided to eat elsewhere after a couple of days because the choices were pretty limited. All in all we rated it a fantastic stay but a few minor issues could have elevated the experience quite significantly.
