Hilton Vienna Plaza

A very nice hotel with great service. Our rooms were large and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The helped us find great restaurants within walking distance. Check in and check out were easily done. The second floor lounge was very nice providing snacks and drinks.

Staff was extremely helpful and outgoing. They made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. For us the location was perfect, close enough to the center and the Jewish quarter with very accessible transportation options. Regretfully they don’t turn on the AC when not summer, requiring us to open windows for air circulation, (that’s a general complaint in Europe). Otherwise, highly recommended.

Excellent hotel and service. This hotel is in a great location and has a tram stop just outside and you are easily within walking distance of many major sights. The room was great and the executive lounge was nice. Great breakfast downstairs with plenty of choices for everyone. We are Hilton members and thoroughly enjoyed this place.

The location on the Ring is excellent, except for the 40 euro parking fee per day. It is assumed that if we are guests it should be a courtesy, especially if we are staying for so many days. The other thing: we were served by a hostess who does NOT speak German. How is this possible in Vienna? We naturally switched to English, but shouldn't a hotel in Vienna give priority to its official language? Plus: The breakfast is the highlight.

We booked Plaza because Hilton is long time our favorite. You can’t fault the hotel but I was disappointed that I had to prove to receptionist their policy regarding children eat free. It was clearly stated on the site yet they tried to convince me rules have changed. The info on the app apparently doesn’t co-ordinate with on site. They did remove the fee after all, but it still made me feel uncomfortable having to negotiate upon my check in. On the bright side, would like to thank our server Catherine. She was very welcoming and melted our hearts with her smile.
