Hilton Vienna Plaza

The hotel is lovely and in a great position for sightseeing. Our room was large and clean, though apparently AC doesn’t work in winter and was far too hot. The staff were unhelpful and disinterested. Our stay was not a very happy one. I had emailed regarding a birthday on the day of arrival and asked for the 3 rooms to be close together. On arrival the receptionist asked whose birthday so the email was received, they told us they had 2 rooms under 1 booking, the other room separate, so 2 rooms were together on the same floor and a the other a lot smaller on a different floor. The birthday was not acknowledged in the room so someone had not carried through the advanced information. Staff then gave us a lot of mixed information, saying 2 rooms on one booking had been upgraded due to my HH, however I note on here management have said upgrades not available on 3 party bookings which our was. Again not true as the email they acknowledged through the birthday clearly stated 3 rooms and jet2 booking was under 3 names for 3 rooms. Staff then did change their minds and said it wasn’t an upgrade but it left the birthday party very upset as they had been allocated a much smaller room. The birthday cake was sent the next day however, their room was not cleaned 2 out of 3 days and our room was missed once. After 5pm. After this final let down of service we were comped breakfast for the 2 remaining days. Staff were unhelpful, unapologetic and disinterested. We received different stories from different staff. Therefore, our xmas birthday weekend was not a very happy one.

My Recent stay at Hilton Vienna Plaza was impeccable from Jan 18-23 2025 all those days are solid !!! From the check in Kyra is wonderful she made us feel welcome and valued with our Hilton Diamond Status,.There were no available rooms at that moment as we arrived early from Paris but she is very apologetic and accompanied us all the way to show the Executive lounge where we could wait while our rooms are getting ready, She recommended a lot of local restaurants in the area,and also arranged our trip to hallstatt,The frontdesk staff are ready to assist in anything we need. The breakfast buffet was excellent offering extensive of wide display of food and especially made it excellent because of christina and maria,those two are working very hard every morning and made our morning start right . The housekeeeping team also deserves a mention the rooms are always impeccable,they were attentive to every detail and it sures show that they are happy and proud of what theyre doing. The hotel location was awesome near to tram buses and metro stations,near to all the tourist spots situated near major attractions. We enjoyed our stay in Hilton Vienna Plaza such a charming hotel with a charming staff,Thank you very much for the best memories and we will stay and be back again.

I booked for a weekend in Vienna months in advance. I arrived late in the evening at around 11.30pm. I requested a room with a walk in shower as I was recovering from a leg injury at the time. Upon check in and arriving at the room, there was a bathtub in the bathroom but no walk in shower. I went back to the reception desk to be moved to the room I requested and she claimed that there were no rooms available, even though I made the request months in advance. She advised me to return to the reception in the morning to see if any other rooms were available. I went downs at 8am the next day and they gave me the room with a walk in shower immediately. This was very strange since the reception staff the only a few hours before and she'd said nothing was available. She seemed like she just couldn't be bothered. At the time of check in, there were also other guests who booked a specific room type but were forced to stay in rooms they hadn't booked below their room category with no further compensation. I've stayed at many Hilton hotels before but it seems that this one just has no consideration for their guests. Other than that, the breakfast staff were extremely courteous and welcoming. The a la carte menu was 10/10. The room was clean, what you'd expect for a basic resort. The hotel is close to tourist spots in Vienna by walk.

Beautiful hotel in a great central location. All staff were friendly and helpful and a credit to the Hilton brand. Breakfast was a buffet style and had a great selection of food to choose from - you didn’t come away hungry! I would highly recommend this lovely hotel if you’re planning a trip to Vienna

I was at Hilton with my friends we were at the lounge and we had a very good experience there with Gabriele. She was so nice and made sure we got everything we wanted. She also was working alone and managed to make everyone feel comfortable and satisfied. Very Good Job! Great Hotel in general the rooms were amazing the food was delicious!!
