Bravo Beach Hotel We stayed at Bravo beach hotel for 3 nights. It is in walking distance of the town center, near to a few restaurants and grocery shops. Maybe at most 1,500 feet from the ferry. The hotel was much better than we expected. The grounds are all white, clean and nicely landscaped, lots of plants, trees, flowers. Two pools, one right on the ocean, the other in an inner garden with a bar-style high table under a canopy area. We took an upper floor apartment for 3 nights, which was perfect. The bay windows and the balcony door were sound-proof which is key to help reduce the ocean surf, as well as a few wild roosters singing early in the morning. There is a large bedroom, some chairs, a small but sufficient bathroom with family-size shower stall, and a good sized balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean. The room was very clean, shower worked well with a good amount of hot water and sanitary. A medium-size refrigerator, and drip coffee maker. The owners and managers were very helpful, assisted with our plans. Getting around Vieques was a bit challenging as we gave up our golf cart on the first day due to its tipping over very easily. We looked for a taxi at the ferry and met Leon who got use around the island while we were there. He was highly reliable, and we highly recommend him as driver, tour guide, etc. For restaurants we went to El Norte, had to wait 30 minutes but was worth it.. Had their seafood paella. Went to El Mar Azul for lunch which was fine; but for dinner we found it too loud, and don’t care for the techno music. We visited a few beaches, the nearby Sea Glass was good for a short swim; other beaches we explored were beautiful and good for swimming but not snorkeling (Caracas, Esperanza). We noticed sea turtle nests in many places that are marked (rocks, tape); please avoid stepping on them. Overall Bravo Beach Hotel was an excellent place to stay and we would stay there again on our next visit.

Prior arrival you need to coordinate car rental or a taxi to get to the hotel specially if you are traveling with a party of 5. Hotel description is truthful as described. includes cable, WiFi, 2 swimming pools that are crispy clean; same as rooms and towels. Enjoy!!

The setting of the hotel is breathtaking with rooms overlooking the ocean. Chris checked us in and was very helpful with restaurant suggestions. The villa is clean and functional with a lovely outdoor covered patio overlooking the water. The pool area was the highlight with the surrounding ocean view. The hotel provided beach chairs, towels and coolers and umbrellas to rent. The landscaping on the property provided more beauty.

This hotel was such a find. It was tucked in a neighborhood in Isabel II, not very far from the ferry. We stayed in Casa Roja in a one-bedroom suite. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. The bathroom was very spacious as was the bedroom. There is a table and chairs outside the unit which were perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Our daughter stayed in the main building with an amazing water view. Her balcony provided lots of light and wave sound therapy. This hotel takes pride in their cleanliness and staff is ready to help with any need you might have. The icing on the cake was the beach chairs, coolers and an ice machine. This place is a no brainer for a great beach vacation!

We were quite disappointed with our stay at this motel, especially considering the many rave reviews. The staff was friendly and the oceanfront swimming pool has a nice view, but otherwise we were not impressed. Our room was very plain, the outside door didn't fit tightly (you could see light at the edge), and the air conditioning struggled to get the room cool enough for sleeping. In addition, the surrounding neighborhood is quite rundown with abandoned cars and homes along some of the streets. That's not the motel's fault, but it's rather sad. The worst thing, however, was that our room had a horrible smell. It may have been sulfur, but it smelled like a mix of urine and Lysol disinfectant. It would get a little better if we opened the doors, but then it would come back very strong again. There are limited options on Vieques, but even so, we won't return to Bravo Beach.
