About the Hotel

Les Sources de Caudalie, located among the vineyards of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a Graves great growth, was established in 1999. The concept behind Les Sources de Caudalie is inspired by the "French Paradox", discovered over 20 years ago. It refers to a study proving that the French diet and lifestyle, particularly in Southwest France, is conducive to good health. Between vineyards and forests, at only 20 minutes from Bordeaux center, the architect Yves Collet created from scratch contemporary buildings from recycled local materials in tune with the surroundings. Les Sources de Caudalie is managed in keeping with the values of: well-being, generosity, authenticity, high-quality service, and emotion. Welcome to a universe where everything is devoted to nature, taste and senses.

On a recent stay in Bordeaux, my daughter and I had an exceptional experience at La Caudalie. The room, the food and the spa were outstanding, but the staff was especially kind and impressive. A special shout out to Sarah and Chloe who went above and beyond as true ambassadors of French hospitality!

One of the few places that you always have to return to. It's always a pleasure to stay here. We have been here both summer and winter, it's equally wonderful. The rooms are nice and the beds are great. They have a very good bar and the breakfast is excellent.

Relaxing chic country side stay

I really recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax and explore the Bordeaux region. The hotel is beautiful a mix of rustic chic, country side vibe with modern touches. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, I would also love to go during summer when the vines are blooming. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. I love how they would light a candle during turn down service and you would come back to such a nice aroma. Having the option for breakfast in bed was great, the picnic basket presentation was so nice. All the staff were super friendly and glad to help with anything. Dinner at La Grand’Vigne is a must. Also visiting the winery, such a beautiful place and just walking around the grounds. I highly recommend booking the spa in advance at it does get fully booked. Also a must is renting a car since you are in the outskirts of town and that way you can also visit other towns like St Emilion (which I loved). The hotel is also pet friendly. Overall highly recommended.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel, the service was incredible and attention to detail was second to none. There were so many activities on offer and the grounds and buildings were just beautiful.
