Hotel Wailea is an enviable destination-within-a-destination in the acclaimed resort community of Wailea where suites made up of coral and limestone walls, bleached white oak floors and sustainably farmed Ohia wood from Hawaii's Big Island feel like your own homey beach house. Even though the suites are equipped with SubZero appliances, dining options will lure you from your hillside retreat: Artisanal cocktails at The Cabanas are mixed with homemade syrups and sodas, and the Zagat five-star Capische? prepares every element in its gourmet marriage of farm-fresh Italian and French flavors from scratch.

The Hotel Wailea provided an excellent wedding experience for my daughter and her fiancé. Kimi and Jessica did a great job planning every detail, and hand a wonderful list of vendors to help create a beautiful wedding experience. The rooms all are lovely, and I noticed that you can always see or hear water from everywhere on site.

From the beginning of our stay to the end, the ambience of the rooms and this property overall with its amenities well maintained beautiful grounds, gardens, streams and waterfalls and stunning views were world class. It exceeded our expectations. I can qualify this because I travel all over the world and have a wide scope of hotels to compare.

The view from the Celebration Suite made us gasp! We were at Hotel Wailea for our 30th anniversary and could not have had a better experience. Dinner and wine on New Year’s Eve were exceptional. The quietness of the resort was especially gratifying. We had the luxe picnic, and the setup and packed lunch were fantastic. The in-suite couples massage was awesome. Finally, dinner at The Treehouse is truly wonderful. The views, privacy, wine, service (Christopher and Chef Cory were awesome), and food made the celebration truly special. We had a car, but the complimentary transportation to Wailea made it unnecessary. Hotel Wailea is a place we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return!!!

The hotel is quite beautiful, including the extensive grounds. It is up the hill a bit from Wailea Beach but that is very attractive if you want quiet. They provide shuttles to the beach (they have an arrangement with Grand Wailea), though the walk isn’t that far. The staff is very service oriented. The rooms are large and very comfortable.

Awesome - sensational service. The Hotel never feels crowded, beautiful grounds. The valet service to the beach or shopping worked very well. We maybe waited 5-8 mins at the most - that was great. We really liked the no kids. Very relaxing pool area. The staff get a lot of details correct.
