Imagine having your own beautiful, estate gentlemen's farm in the Eastern Tennessee mountains. A farm complete with serene, bucolic sheep grazing in manicured pastures, miles of incredible walking and hiking trails, a beautiful garden and an amazing staff of people who are some of friendliest, nicest, people you have ever met in the hospitality business. People who end almost every conversation with "enjoy the rest of your day". A master gardener who not only welcomes you to his wonderful garden but when asked if we could wander around replied "I'd be disappointed if you didn't"! People who really care about you having an amazing stay. If you can imagine this, then you can imagine a bit of the feel of Blackberry Farm. In addition to luxurious, private cabins with fireplaces and breathtaking vistas the hotel's fine restaurant, The Barn is a world class epicurean delight. It houses one of Americas largest wine collections. The restaurant's farm to table philosophy is evident not only in their delightful menu offerings but in seeing their people out in the garden gathering produce that evenings meal. The property is quite large so each cottage has its own golf cart for getting around and exploring. Miles of cart paths lead to bubbling streams, fishing ponds, multiple pools, and small little serene enclaves perfect to sit and relax and take in the experience. The world class meals are included in the rate making this a unique "all inclusive" at a whole different level. The no tipping, cashless policy is great. BlackBerry Farm is not inexpensive but the amazing experience is worth every penny. This has been one of the nicest travel experiences I have ever had and we will definitely be back.

My husband and I finally treated ourselves to a long weekend at Blackberry Farm, and we are glad that we did. The property is gorgeous; the accommodations, beautiful and comfortable (so much so that I bought one of their bed pillows at their gift shop); the food and wine, spectacular (the Barn is a multiple James Beard award winner); and the service level was top-notch. All we could've asked for in addition was better weather, hoping to return in Spring, Summer, or Fall.

This is a truly spectacular resort. The people are off the charts … great team, excellent service. The food is excellent and interesting without being too “precious”. Very comfortable room (ours was in the Main House). There’s a wonderful spacious feel…even at meals it doesn’t seem crowded. Lots of activities if you wish. Great massages.

Exceptional property, immaculately maintained, lots of welcoming staff. Accomodation was excellent, clean, quiet and with modern facilities, fast wifi everywhere. The only and minor let down was the food. Whilst its all high-end and best ingredients, dinner, lunch and breakfast food was almost great, in a few instances it was served warm, not hot. Activities such as horse-riding where well organised and well worth it. Check in and out efficient. Movement in the BBF cars was great too.

Our stay at Blackberry Farm in Knoxville, Tennessee, was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, every moment was filled with memorable experiences. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to every detail with such warmth and care. The food was exceptional—every meal was a delight that showcased the best of local flavors. We fell in love with the farm animals; seeing the sheep and playing with the puppies added a fun, unique touch to our experience. We enjoyed two whiskey tastings, each one different and expertly curated, giving us a real taste of Tennessee’s finest. The spa was a true retreat, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and luxury. Every person we met was genuinely kind and made our time there even more special. Blackberry Farm is a place where the beauty of the surroundings is matched only by the quality of service. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you for an unforgettable stay.
