Reviews for Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Warsaw

Decline in quality

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

I’m writing this review primarily to warn discerning guests, especially those with positive past experiences with the Luxury Collection brand. I have been staying at Hotel Bristol for the past two years, but I am deeply disappointed by the drastic decline in service quality. The hotel is clearly understaffed. Most of the time, there is no one at the door to assist with luggage, provide directions, or offer basic courtesies. Simple gestures like opening car doors or calling a taxi are almost nonexistent - forget about them 90% of the time. A significant portion of the staff are newcomers who are not properly trained, which is obviously an issue stemming from hotel management, not the employees themselves. One baffling example of this decline is the refusal to lend guests an HDMI cable, even though this is the only way to connect to the in-room TV (wireless connections are not supported, and the TVs lack streaming apps). Similarly, the hotel does not provide phone chargers, so if you forget yours, you're on your own - even the concierge is unable to assist. Dining is another persistent problem, as noted in many reviews, even those written years ago. Meals are often of subpar quality, and the breakfast options are laughable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. The lack of services like a butler, even in suites, is glaring - especially when the main competitor (Europejski) offers butler service in every room. Turndown service is inconsistent - sometimes provided, sometimes not. The one consistent positive is cleanliness, which has never been an issue. It’s disheartening that a hotel, considered a landmark of Warsaw, delivers such mediocre service. Unfortunately, despite my Platinum status with the chain, I will be choosing Hotel Europejski for my next stay.

Review of Hotel Bristol, Warsaw

Hotel Bristol in Warsaw offers an unbeatable location, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city with ease. The interiors and rooms, as expected from The Luxury Collection, are stunning, with exceptionally comfortable beds that ensure a perfect night’s sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful at every moment, adding to the overall positive experience. However, I was quite disappointed with the Eggs Benedict at breakfast. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected perfection – a silky hollandaise sauce and properly poached eggs. Unfortunately, the eggs were nearly hard in the center, which detracted from an otherwise stellar stay. It’s a shame, as they were so close to perfection in every other aspect.

A class hotel

I decided on the hotel Bristol due to the location and it did not disappoint. The hotel is very central, close to the old town with plenty of cafe shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is stunning. We booked an executive king. The room was huge with a lovely separate seating area. The hotel is a classic old European hotel that has been tastefully updated. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning. Olga in the front office was very helpful, solving any issues we experienced. Although the hotel is central this still quiet and relaxing. If you are planning to visit Warsaw the hotel Bristol is a perfect place to enjoy the city in style.

A must stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bristol hotel in downtown Warsaw. The entire experience was perfect. I especially enjoyed my time at the spa. The spa staff was courteous, professional and helpful. We cannot thank the Bristol enough for making our birthday celebration truly special!

Beautiful classic hotel

Beautiful hotel, right next door to the Presidential Palace. Excellent service. Lovely room. Turndown service is spot on. The location is walking distance to the old town. The breakfast buffet is extensive. Highly recommend. Travelling in the off season, the rates are very reasonable.
