My husband and I had a kid-free day and decided to head across the river from Virginia and into DC to stay at the Conrad. Using our Amex FHR benefits, we booked a club level room. Upon arrival, we were unable to get an early check in until around 2:00 but hung out in the club lounge, enjoying the views over a couple glasses of wine and some of the delightful snacks they had. Since we did book through AMEX, we did get upgraded to a corner room and were delighted with a stuffed Conrad panda and chocolates on our bed. The bathroom was gorgeous with Mojave Ghost amenities. We also loved the remote controlled blinds and the bed time amenity kit (if you do not receive one on club level, make sure to ask for one…it’s amazing!!!!). After slipping on our slippers, we headed back to the club lounge for the daily whisky tasting with views of the Capitol and Washington Monument in the distance. Opening up the freezer that was fully stocked with individual Hagan Daz ice cream was then followed with a board game on the sofas before dinner. The club lounge has daily themed stations for dinner and we were lucky to be there for Asian night! Their live station consisted of custom bao buns and the buffet had a delightful assortment of Asian fusion food which was amazing. When you are on club level you also get access to unlimited beer, wine and cocktails from their cocktail menu. Honestly, it makes the club worth it between the drinks, snacks, dinner, and breakfast. We then meandered down to the main restaurant as we had some credit from booking with our AMEX. We grabbed a couple of cocktails and a dessert at the bar which was lovely and fun before heading to bed. The breakfast up at the club lounge the next morning was perfect with a French toast and Benedict live station and a buffet with all the other breakfast things you could possibly need. I just want to say that this is SUCH a fantastic gem of a property. All of the staff are lovely and go the extra mile to be warm, welcoming, and make your stay a memorable one. We are so grateful for the experience we had!

Text: A very different hotel this one. If you’re looking for flawless and perfect, this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a really nice room, incredible bed, great gym and really amazing service, stay here. It was remarkable how kind, cheerful and helpful folks were, from the front desk to valet. One employee I spoke with gushed about working here, including opportunities to move up. That’s the sign of a well run business. I did have a room issue but it was handled so well that it was plus for the hotel. A park view suite actually is worth the spend, as is the Club. Great dinners both nights, excellent service ,and a really good Cabernet. I’ll be back, for sure.

This was without a doubt one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. We have stayed at several Conrads domestically and this was absolutely the best hotel. We were greeted when we got there by Danielle. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything we needed help with and was very patient while we asked a few somewhat complicated questions. As orthodox Jews we needed to understand a few aspects of the hotel for our sabbath, and she was more than happy to answer all of them. She definitely set the tone for a great stay. More hotels need a Danielle! Every staff member we worked with really was great, Danielle was just above and beyond! The room was fabulous and really felt luxurious. House keeping came twice a day. Once to clean and once for a turn down service, which included filing our ice, taking out the slipper and leaving us chocolates on our pillow (which thankfully were kosher as well!). At every turn there was an employee with a smiling face, ready to help us with opening a door or answering a question. The Panda stuffed animal was extremely soft and our kids were happy we came home with them. There also was plenty of Conrad bottled water with everyone, so they made sure we stayed well hydrated. The location was fabulous. We were a quick 10 minute walk from the Museums and monuments. We didnt walk to the White House but I believe it was about just as far. There also were many high end shops downstairs and in the general area for lots of great shopping. The showers did not do a good job of keeping the water in. We had to request extra towels from house keeping just to keep on the floor. They said it happens often that the bathrooms flood. I feel like that is a problem a luxury hotel could easily fix. As kosher consumers we obviously did not try any of the food at the hotel, however we did have their coffee in the morning. The restaurant offered free coffee at a set up, and Cappuccino and Latte were available for about $10 each. The Lattes were fine, but if it werent for the food and beverage credit, I probably would have preferred just getting a coffee at Tatte next door.

Perfect location for taking in what DC has to offer. The staff are exceptional and the food is well produced and relatively good value for a hotel in the middle of Washington DC. We were slightly disappointed by one staff member was obviously having a bad day. She ignored us throughout our meal and virtually threw the plates onto the table. However Brennan behind the bar (and his colleague on the night of the 16th January 2025) sorry didn’t get his name and Nato in the restaurant more than made up for this. I hope Hilton recognise how important their contributions are to people’s vacations and should be an example of how to do their jobs. A hotel of this standard and cost should have a spa or at least a sauna or steam room. This was very disappointing as it was -10 outside!

What a lovely place. There for a conference. Spacious / clean / modern rooms with strong wifi. Located in a neighborhood with lots going on. Good conference facilities--though the rooms were a little chilly, My only complaint was that the desk chair was hard/rigd/wood/unconfortable
