The name Dupont may be the most common surname in France, but in the United States it is known as one of the toniest areas of Washington DC. At the very top of Dupont Circle is The Dupont Hotel, perhaps the only place in the city where politicos and party leaders can peacefully co-exist. Newly re-opened and part of The Doyle Collection of properties, The Dupont Hotel's modernly designed spaces are evident throughout the public areas as well as behind each and every guest room door. Contemporary appointments add another layer of luxury to the hotel's harmonious setting. Amenities are abundant with private physical training, in-suite massage and spa services, heated bathroom floors and an entire level reserved for those wanting private membership to the property.

It is our 2nd Time at the Hotel as a family of 3. We loved it so much in June that we decided to come back for another week. We love the cleanliness of the rooms, their confort and the amenities. We obviously love the Pembroke food. But we keep coming back for the people that work here both at the Hotel and the restaurant: from Cortez to Dwayne (congrats on your well deserved promotion!), Daniel, Amalee, Eric and Nia at the Doyle. Thank you for making us feel welcome, for the genuine smiles, for paying attention, for building rapport and for going the extra mile with my son Yoan. Thank you for doing your work with excellency. If you want to relax and enjoy your stay in Washington and leave feeling rejuvenated, this is definitely the spot. We are most definitely coming back!

My son and I traveled to DC for 2 nights to celebrate his 18th birthday. Our stay at The Dupont Circle was exceptional. We picked this hotel based on the location and the reputation among reviews; we were not disappointed. Check in with Thomas was a breeze. We were notified of a complimentary room upgrade with a view and also asked if we were celebrating anything. I took the opportunity to mention my son's birthday. We had only been in the room a few minutes when there was a knock on the door. Room service had arrived although I hadn't ordered anything. I was certain there must have been a mistake. Guest relations had delivered dessert and a hand written birthday card for my son. There are a variety of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed the sights of the neighborhood and also appreciated easy access to the Metro. The hotel itself is beautiful and well appointed. Each staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. At checkout we were assisted by Cortez and Jade. Upon offering our room number for checking out they both recalled my son's birthday and wished us well on our travels. We would definitely recommend The Dupont Circle and look forward to returning for another stay. Well done!

This is a very comfortable hotel. Excellent restaurants nearby. Metro station five minutes away. The Phillips Collection a fifteen minutes' walk. What I most want to emphasize is the obliging staff at reception, whose friendliness and courtesy makes the guest feel truly welcome. Cortez Winston, the front office manager, was memorably cheerful, helpful, and kind.

My husband and I came to Washington DC for a four night getaway. Certain expectations are to be met when staying at a Five Star hotel, but our stay at The DuPont Hotel was above and beyond our expectations. Every staff member greeted us with a welcoming smile and gave us top notch service. Our room had all of the amenities that you would expect at a nice hotel and then some. Small details like a vanity kit with hair bands are hard to come by these days, and there are heated floors in the bathroom! Turn down service was always appreciated, giving me extra Nespresso pods for myself, chocolates, and anything else that we needed. Our request of a room away from the elevator was granted along with an extra fridge for our dietary needs. We booked through the AMEX platinum Hotel Collection and received complimentary breakfast everyday, $100 credit and a free room upgrade. We ate at the onsite Pembroke restaurant every day, trying various dishes, and they were all delicious! Service was perfect and prompt. I am picky w/ details with my family being in the industry and have high standards for value (you get what you pay for). Gorgeous surroundings with up-to-date color pallets and design. The food had original flavors and nice presentation. All dietary needs were available on the menu. Beds and linens were comfy along with a layout that optimized functionality and space. The built in large screen TV was one awesome for a movie night. Room service was quick and came hot. The gym was well equipped, especially for a fitness center in a hotel. They had extra machines that often do not exist that my husband appreciated. They once again had little touches such as breakfast bars, headphones, and plenty of water. The design and ambience from the lobby to the hallways was cozy yet sophisticated. We enjoyed having a drink and reading a book in the lobby one evening next to the fireplace. Cortez, the manager, ensured that our stay was perfect and he and I discussed our next visit as we were so impressed with the experience. It’s conveniently located, had a beautiful holiday market outside for the season, and there were plenty of cute bookstores, restaurants, and shops to check out. Museums are 15 minutes away and same with Georgetown. We loved how convenient everything was.

This review pertains solely to The Pembroke, the restaurant located in the hotel. The meals are excellent, and we want to extend special appreciation to David Nguyen, Tom Murphy, Kyle, Michel, and Adan, and Dwayne. Well-done, gentlemen!
