InterContinental Washington DC - The Wharf

The room was spacious and well laid out. Was a nice surprise to have a balcony with a view of the water. Daily breakfast in the restaurant was excellent way to start each day. We had Fernando each time and always gave great recommendations! He was spot on in his descriptions.

Good location. Very friendly staffs. Rooms are clean and big. We travel many where around the world and user their services from the America to Asia and they are very good system. They did help us to arranged the airport transfer quick as we needed. Thank you very much

The facility of hotel are excellent, maybe top 3 in North America. Also, Erinn, who serves at the front desk, shows excellent expertise in check in process. Erinn shows unbelievable friendly and professional. Will definitely visit again.

My stay at InterContinental The Wharf was overall enjoyable, with a comfortable atmosphere and good hospitality. However, there are a few areas that could be enhanced to improve the guest experience. Management of Services : While the hotel staff was generally attentive, there is room for improvement in overall service management. Enhancing efficiency and consistency could further elevate the guest experience. I would like to commend several outstanding staff members who went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Mr. Sipan and Ms. Jackie at the Breakfast Restaurant were particularly attentive and ensured a pleasant dining experience. Additionally, the doormen, porters, and receptionists were courteous and professional, making guests feel welcome. Their dedication truly added value to my stay. One area that could be refined is the billing system integration between the restaurant and the front desk. During checkout, verifying the breakfast bill took longer than expected. A more seamless system would enhance convenience for guests. It would be beneficial for the hotel to have its own in-house laundry facilities and equipment to enhance efficiency and service quality. This could offer greater convenience for guests who require laundry services. Regards,

The staff was incredibly patient, helpful, and every interaction with Erinn at the front desk was a true delight. He went over and beyond being accommodating during my stay. He and Camille were lovely on my last day of my stay as well, working with some schedule changes that would have been stressful without their help and hospitality. Give them a raise! Also love the Byredo in the rooms, thanks for the stellar stay, Intercontinental!
