This stay was excellent from beginning to end. The special occasion told to them in advance was acknowledged throughout the stay and we were treated like VIPs the entire stay. I want to give a special shoutout out to Jennifer at concierge for having great energy and a being extremely helpful, Charles for an easy check in and for being the ultimate easy going professional, Lisa at host at the restaurant for her joy and pleasant attitude, Hiugh at the Spa for top tier service and Wubi and Ali at Valet and Bellman for their hardwork. Last but not least....DOGON was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in my life and I'm glad that Salamander chose them as a partner!

Gorgeous hotel located in a posh circle! Beautiful lobby with elegant, spacious rooms and bathroom equipped with Smart lights. The staff is super-kind, professional, and ready to serve in any capacity to ensure that your stay is most comfortable. Definitely worth the price!

We booked an anniversary trip to one of the most beautiful hotels in DC! We were greeted with a big smile by Eskedar, who was very welcoming and friendly. She told us a little bit about the hotel and even interesting details about some of the other Salamander properties. This has been a very memorable experience so far and we hope to return soon.

Front desk and bell men were great. Had access to bikes which was great for getting around. 79$ a day for parking was ridiculous so parked around block for 25/day. Room was very comfortable except the chairs. The housekeepers don't read or understand English when left a note for more creamer and left a tip, never got it. Watch bill in restaurant, one day got tip included and second didn't for just 2 people.

Charles and Gomal who assisted me at concierge check in were very professional and it was evident the staff values their guests experience. Genuinely pleasant and will make sure you have any information/assistance needed for an enjoyable stay, The hotel is kept in immaculate condition and the amenities are beautiful. This hotel is significantly better than your average stay.

Not up to the standards of our stay at previously booked luxury link hotels. No in room coffee bar, no mini bar, blamed everything on Covid, and they were a new hotel, we would not stay there again. Definitely not 5 star, location good, no ice maker you had to call for it.
