Riggs Washington DC

The doorman, Mr. Garnett, did me a solid by lending me his tie as I was headed to a funeral. He was terrific throughout our stay. Thank you. The rooms and other service were also good. This is the first review like this I’ve written. Hope I don’t get spammed for eternity for writing it….

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Riggs. We went to see the Christmas Tree and stayed two nights to enjoy DC. While we were there we had to pleasure of meeting Caroline, Charlotte and Isis. They were very helpful and made our stay seem like we were family. We love the Riggs Hotel and will stay there when we visit DC. When we left we assisted by The Coach a very nice gentleman. Thank you Riggs Hotel for the delightful people and the experience. b

Charlotte at the Riggs Hotel is a gem! Her Irish charm and hospitality added a special touch to my experience. She went out of her way to ensure I had a comfortable stay and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend the Riggs Hotel, especially with staff like Charlotte.

Charlotte at the front desk and valet person wereWONDERFUL. There was chaos (produced by traffic) getting to the valet stand. I abandoned my car and went to the front desk. Charlotte immediately took charge of the situation— Radioing the valet attendant and then leaving her post to find him. The valet attendant then walked to the car and drove it around the traffic to let my (disabled) wife and dog off in front of the hotel. Charlotte then contacted the restaurant to let them know we would be late for dinner. Brava!

Just the right size room for a family of 4, great restaurant recommendations from the staff. In addition the front desk was amazing especially charlotte, best shower since we have been travelling around America. Overall the staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
