Fabulous High Tea!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We went for high tea at the Ritz at Pentagon City and it was so lovely! We had a small child with us and they had a small teddy bear for her and a fabulous tea just for her and adult tea for the rest of us. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food and tea were delicious. We will go back!

Amazing Staycation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Ritz at Pentagon City. From the time the doorman came and open our car door we were greeted with warmth and joy. The front desk is top notch in customer service. I called the front desk about celebrating my wife and I 1st-anniversary and let me tell you that they went above and beyond to make sure our visit was top tier. From the room, flowers, champagne, food and drinks at Sante we were served with professionalism and hospitality. I want to make sure I give recognition to front desk team Carmella and Anita. They were superb.

lovely hotel in good location

Returned to the Ritz for the location and my previous experience. It is conveniently located by a mall and the yellow metro line. It was as I expected from my other visits which is almost perfect. The negative is are the thin walls and rooms with adjoining doors where you can hear your neighbors. Otherwise, a high end hotel with great service and accommodations. Will return if I need to be in the area.

Good Marriott Ritz

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I like Marriott and this is the upper end of their scale. The Ritz won’t be able to get away from the Marriott ownership. I see Marriott has already shaved costs. This Ritz has a lot of personal service, very clean, terrific amenities, and great housekeeping. I’d stay back here again.

Big Disappointment!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Ritz Carlton at Pentagon City where I have been a loyal guest for years. As a Marriott Titanium member who visits this property monthly for business, I have consistently enjoyed excellent service—until this visit. Upon check-in, I noticed that my status was incorrectly listed as Platinum instead of Titanium. I requested an upgrade to a King bedroom, but I was informed that none were available. However, I later overheard that an upgrade was provided to another guest. Additionally, I requested a microwave and refrigerator for my room, as I work in the hotel room frequently. In the past, these requests have been accommodated at no charge, but this time I was informed there would be a $50 fee per item. This experience felt inconsistent with the level of service I’ve come to expect, and I was particularly disheartened by what felt like unequal treatment. I am raising these concerns because I believe in the high standards Marriott is known for, and I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences for myself and other guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
