The Ritz-Carlton, Washington DC

This is a very nice hotel, obviously it’s a Ritz, but it has more going for it than just the pizazz. The location is excellent. It’s right on the mall, so you have access to shops and quick eats, but additionally other excellent restaurants are walking distance. Additionally there is a drug store in very short walking distance across the street, so you have easy access to replace or purchase anything from toiletries to drinks and snacks. The metro station is just across the street as well. Easy access to the monuments and the rest of downtown DC is possible from there. A great choice for business or leisure.

We love this hotel. Awesome service and amazing experience. We always stay here when in town. Close to everything. Room Service is prompt and friendly. Housekeeping kept our room exquisitely prepared daily. We enjoyed the chocolates and daily surprises.

The Ritz-Carlton has a level of service and amenities that we have all come to expect. This property not only meets that standard, but exceeds it every time! From the door to your floor, you are seen and greeted like you are an important guest. With the valet team, you never have to carry a bag from the moment you step out of your car ! The front desk team and the Concierge team (shout out to Kenneth), are friendly and so helpful with any request. Zele is always standing by to greet you with the biggest smile and a glass of champagne! She is the heart of the place for sure! Go say hi to Kathy in the Club lounge. She is the Queen of Superior Service, making sure everyone is greeted with excitement and that all your needs are met, while in her presence! And if you do have an issue, Vina provides quick and immediate attention with a smile and the appropriate resolution to your situation. It's not always about the problem for me...but it's always the recovery that I remember! See you next time! - J

Staff conduct was marked by unprofessionalism, deceit, cover-ups, involving overcharging – quoting guests a nightly rate of $490 pretending to offer a "discount from $520" when Booking.com offered the same room, sane time period for $359 – and providing incorrect or misleading information about the management's professional qualifications. Guests were left stranded without accommodations and compensation. Furthermore, unauthorized charges/authorizations were discovered by guests, who also lodged complaints regarding deplorable behavior exhibited by sevelral managers including failure to provide requested contact information for the accounting department where funds were held without permission which was also noted; patron coerced under the guise of assistance by Marriott customer service representatives, who purportedly were aiding them in finding resolutions to their complaints. Instead, these representative furtively referred the matters to the legal department lack of privacy, violation of trust. 🔺The Four Seasons Hotel & 🔺Willard Intercontinental are highly recommended for organizations/ distressing experiences at the ❌Ritz Carlton West End DC.

Fantastic place with beautiful rooms awesome bar and friendly people. Most amazed by the Gym & Basket Ball Court. Just a walking distance from the White House, The RC is surrounded by great restaurants and very helpful employees. Best is the cocktail bar to close up on your unlimited steps of the day.
