Eskedar at the front desk was a great help and welcomed me with very clear information. The hotel is super accommodating with great amenities. I was very comfortable and could spend all day at this hotel with everything they had...........

The Salamander DC is an exquisite hotel with contemporary and charming environment. From the moment that you walk in the door it is highly engaging and warm. There is an almost family environment that makes you feel that you are lodging in a private residence. Awesome experience. The lobby lounge is beautiful and engaging.

Today my hubby and I checked in celebrating a birthday and the staff were absolutely amazing- attentive, professional, and accommodating. The valet Phillipe attention to detail was stellar. During the check in we were greeted by Eskedar as she checked us into our rooms. Eskedar was warm, pleasant and accommodating. She shared information regarding the hotels accommodations and gave us some history on Salamander. She gave Recommendations on food and went above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcomed! We have been very impressed this far. It's a classy, well established hotel with great costumer service! We will absolutely be returning and highly recommending the salamander to others!

great hotel and staff. Good location. Eskedar at front desk and Jennifer at concierge desk were both excellent and so friendly. Easy walking distance to the Wharf and the Mall, real close to Jefferson's monument. Spa wasn't open but it looks really nice, nice indoor pool and fitness center

So excited to see the Salamader in Washington DC proper. The service was excellent thanks to attentive and kind team members like Eskedar. The new restaurant had too many delicious options to choose from in one meal. I highly suggest the shrimp, rice and greens! The new spa opens Friday. Can’t wait to see how the space has transformed.

Not up to the standards of our stay at previously booked luxury link hotels. No in room coffee bar, no mini bar, blamed everything on Covid, and they were a new hotel, we would not stay there again. Definitely not 5 star, location good, no ice maker you had to call for it.
