Valet team of Towne Park led by Deondrey “Dee” at Waldorf Astoria is an amazing team. They work hard and meet the customer expectations. Dee went above and beyond to assist me with misplaced key. I highly recommend valet service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and this shining star is for Dee 🌟✨

The Waldorf Astoria was great! The lobby is beautiful and is home to two lovely restaurants. The staff was attentive and helpful. The room was large, lovely and quiet. It also does a masterful job of incorporating the old post office heritage into its current operations. We delighted in the framed stamps and letters. The location is a block or two from the Mall and perfect for museum exploring.

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Waldorf. Everything is high quality from the valet to check out. Shout out to Dennis at the valet stand who is always so nice and accommodating when we arrive! Would highly recommend this hotel for any occasion.

Just saw that my review was shadow banned. on google. They kept my 5/5 rating on Bazaar but erased this one. So I lowered my rating and reposted it. We came to visit to celebrate my fiance's birthday. I thought five nights at the Waldorf would be perfect. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I had high hopes for my stay at the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC. Check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 p.m. We were informed our room was not ready and they would text us when it became ready. It was not busy on this Tuesday night. I know because I was there Friday and Saturday and saw how busy this place can get. I'm pretty sure registration had a good idea when a room would be ready. She also knew that we had reservations at 6:00 at Bazaar. . What they should have done is given us a drink voucher and apologized and we would have happily waited at the bar. We still waited at the bar, but now I had incentive and time to look and see what room availability was. There were plenty of upgrades available, just the standard room that we had booked was not available. I guess Waldorf has decided not to honor Diamond status upgrades. At 5:00 I still haven't heard from anyone. so I started texting the hotel to find out when our room would be available. Someone finally got back to me and said the room is available. The room was a standard King and it looked like it had been hurriedly put together and it was not fully stocked. Missing cups, utensils and only had one chair in there for two people. That one red chair had some weird white substance on it.I hope it was paint. That night there was construction that occurred on Pennsylvania Avenue all night. Basically we got no sleep. I called down and requested a second chair and informed them about the noise. It seemed like it was almost too much trouble to bring another chair up and they said well if it's noisy again tonight let us know and we'll see if we can get you another room. Lucky for us, the noise did stop at a reasonable hour. The extra chair they brought up was satisfactory. But unfortunately for us housekeeping came banging on the door at 8:45 a.m. I will say that housekeeping did finally fully stock everything. Not once but twice housekeeping removed one of the two robes in the room. The first time I had them replace it , the second time I just gave up. This place is a strange mix of incredibly good service and incredibly bad service. The doorman, the concierge, and the bartenders at Peacock Alley are absolutely amazing. Registration and housekeeping have a lot to be desired. The entire experience ruined what was supposed to have been a bucket list trip to DC. Can’t recommend this place to anyone. Had a better experience at a Westin with only Gold Marriot status than here.

Less than 1 mile away from 1700 Pennsylvania Ave and Smithosian museum. Initially United States post office from 1892-1899 and later Trump International Hotel from 2012-2016 with public opening in 2016 (4 weeks after his acceptance as Republican Presidential nominee). Prior to his acceptance, the Democrat party/voters endulged in every photo op and interview with him. Washington D.C. granted Trump Organization a 100 year lease in 2012 and it sold lease to CGI Merchant Group, a Miami-based investment firm in 2016 (currently defaulting on its debt in 2023). With an 2012 agreement with Hilton Worldwide Holdings to manage the property under its Waldorf Astoria brand for 100 years. In light of guests being offended, I will call it Trump hotel due to specific guests immaturity to change it to Waldorf Astoria. In which I thought the only hotel lied in New York City by the late Jacob Astor. To my assumption, I was correct. Trump Organization made it apparent that the clock tower with observation dect, remain free to public patrons and thus, didnt charge. Pet friendly $110. Valet only at $75. We stayed at the top floor. Given the renovation. You are emeressed with beautiful and elegant furniture and decorum of cremes, gold, royal Blue. Woth elegant wood walls, writting desks and vanities. We stayed on top floor. Elegant rooms are endulged in French style ambience with long Royal Blue curtains with an operation to open/close remote. Each room is stocked with cocktails, pops, candy, nuts and Belgian Chocolate, H20. Of course with a cost. There is no complimentary breakfast. The bellboy, concierge, and staff have the upmost 5 star hospitality as we arrived with a gift for a child upon check-in. The manager for the restaurant endure a occational theme for their sou chef to take on along with decor. The music was depressing as modern elevator music. 1930-1960 feels more appeasing.
