The Normandy Hotel

Just stayed at this Hotel in DC while visiting for the holidays. Would highly recommend. Everything was topnotch from location, to room, to aesthetics, to staff. Especially Frank one of the Managers who personally went to retrieve a toy that had sentimental value to my son, that he had left behind in our stay. Frank took the toy and placed it in a bag with a note for us to pick up on our way back from our vacation. We were impressed by the level of care, dedication, and customer service that was provided to us.

Charming hotel. Super comfortable bed. Appreciated the wine and cheese but having.parking included was key. Lovely neighborhood. You can get your car out of parking and come and go as you.please which is great. Ample breakfast and good coffee.

The staff is what makes The Normandy Hotel stand out. Frank and Brianna (and their other housekeeping and kitchen staff) were so incredibly helpful and so hard working. I had a 2 queen room and the room is not very large but that is DC for you. The rates are so incredibly reasonable and if you get a breakfast/parking package you cannot beat the price. The nightly wine and cheese is an added bonus. I had left my credit card in my room and they called me right away after they found it. I am so incredibly grateful for that! My son lives around the corner and we will definitely be back. Such a great location. We enjoyed the breakfast very much as well. Excellent coffee.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay! The room and facilities were very clean, and I loved the mix of old charm with a touch of modern. The front desk workers at both the night check-in and morning check-out were super nice and helpful! Would absolutely stay here again!

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our stay was at the “non-conference” hotel. Excellent value. Easy to get around. Nice neighborhood. It was a short walk to the terrific Phillips Collection and near many good places to eat—in every price range.
