Block Rooms Review
We had a meeting at the hotel and had a block of rooms here. The hotel is well kept and reasonably priced at the block rate. The service is well above average and you can tell the employees care about the quality of their work. The meetings were smoothly ran with no issues.

$35 rip off resort fee
Beware of the $35 rip off resort fee which mars the property. Hotel was formerly a Kimpton. Nice neighborhood. Close to Rock Creek Park as well as the Metro. Staff very professional. Food good. Wine pricey in the bar. breakfast not included but there is a good b bagel place across the street and a French bakery nearby. Most DC hotels do NOT charge resort fees so boycott those that do. I was here forma work event.

Nice Hotel
My family stayed here on our visit to DC and Ray checked us in and also checked us out. She answered all the questions we had and even helped us decide on nearby places to eat at. The hotel was nice but the parking fee is outrageous. I would hope some of that $60 per night goes directly to the valet or front desk staff.

NO hot water.
Don’t stay here if you want hot water. No hot water on the first day so we mentioned this to the front desk. They said an engineer would come by to fix it. The next morning we still only had cold water. When we checked out, we told the front desk. Their response was “oh” and the handed me my receipt. Bad customer service. No hot water. Not acceptable for a hotel, particularly in the winter.

Successful Conference space
This was a wonderful space for a conference. The only thing I wish was better was wifi in the room. I had connection issues, but the conference wifi we had in the conference room worked fine during business hours. Rayshawn went above & beyond to ensure I had everything I need. I appreciate her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help! Thank you!!!!
