Andaz West Hollywood

I have stayed at this hotel for years....decades. I always looked forward to Alfred each morning at Breakfast, as he always knew what I wanted! What a gem! That tradition continues with Nilaja and Whitney at reception. I made a last-minute reservation a couple of weekends ago and hadn't been to the property in more than two years! I was recognized at 'check-in,' and when I arrived in my room, I simply smiled. I love Hyatt, but NOT PEPSI! Hyatt is a Pepsi partner, but there were FOUR DIET COKES with a note in my room. WOW! The room was immaculate, the bed so comfy, and the vibe of the property warm, inviting, and ON TREND for LA! I love this place, the location, and the team here. This is why I have been a Globalist (Diamond Gold passport) member for over 30 years! Hyatt does it best; this property is a shiny example of their finest hospitality. Breakfast was wonderful, as always...and the gem is MUCH better than the average hotel gym!! Great equipment, spotlessly clean. I spent the morning reading the news on the rooftop pool/patio. It was a lovely way to start the day. Thank you all... I will be back!!!

The hotel was beautiful and in a nice part of town. I had never been to LA before so it was easy to find. Beds were very comfy and the room had an amzing view of the city. The roof pool was closed but still able to sit up there and enjoy the views. Overall, a great convenient stay and very comfortable.

My room wasn’t made up while I was out for the day. The room itself was a bit worn. The finish was chipped on the bedside table and the phone didn’t work at all. Definitely not what I’ve come to expect from staying at other Andaz properties. Staff was personable.

My room offers pretty panoramic view of LA, spacious, and the hotel located on finest location of West Hollywood. Front office staff Ashly, Delano, Nilaja, and their manager are always there to listen and help you with everything you wish.

Nice place & location but be careful for hidden fees. My credit card was charged after checkout for an additional “destination fee” per night I was there. I was told this fee was for incidentals like the “free” snacks at the desk and the “free” coffee etc. whether I use them or not. This was not communicated to me beforehand, and simply is not honest. When I called to question these additional charges, the desk clerk clearly couldn’t have cared any less.
