Andaz West Hollywood

Had a great stay at the Andaz, the rooms are beautiful and clean, the hotel amenities and design are stellar. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to help us deal with an accidental double booking situation. Couldn't say enough about the service. They also have little snacks available by check in, which was great after a long drive to grab a quick pick me up. I was sad we weren't able to check out the wine happy hour, but we will definitely stay here again and check it out in the future.

Excellent location with wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Hotel staff was very helpful and responsive. Rooftop pool was great with beautiful views all around. Bed was super comfortable. Filtered water refill on each floor was an added plus. Will definitely be staying again!

Our home away from home for over 12 years, the Andaz West Hollywood, is welcomed like family the minute we step through the door by the wonderful staff, so each visit is a treat. The Operations Head, Emilio Lourdes, is a treasure of a person and manager who has introduced so many great ideas that have made such a genuinely positive impact to the hotel. His professionalism and courtesy are top class, and you can see the staff are well pleased and have job satisfaction—a testament to Emilio's outstanding management. We always stay at the Andaz West Hollywood whenever we travel from London. On the rare days when the hotel is booked out on our desired dates, we have even revised our travel plan just so that we can be accommodated here. This speaks volumes about how much we like this hotel. As soon as you enter the hotel, you are treated like a valued paying customer, so much so that my mother repeatedly insists on us staying here time and again. The staff have now become our friends, and we are truly humbled and grateful for this. Staff with Exceptional Standards I would particularly like to highlight the friendliest and kindest people at reception: Derek, Nate, and Jessie. They are absolute gems and a true gem to this hotel. Their friendliness and dedication make every visit special. We were also fortunate enough to meet Charlie, the Front Office Head. Just like Emilio, Charlie went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed the greatest possible stay at the Andaz West Hollywood. His natural ability to read our minds, respond to every request, and ensure that we received the best service had us feeling remarkably warm and sunny. We're so glad that he has joined the family at the hotel, and it is simply evidence that Andaz only hires the best. Key Highlights of the Hotel: Location: Spot on. Cleanliness: Not just the bedrooms but all over; it's one of the things that really makes it stand out. Hotel Facilities: The gym, pool, marketplace, restaurant, etc., are all fabulous. Valet: The service team are just the sweetest. Atmosphere: Perfect for all types of guests (young, old, hip, sporty, families, etc.). Restaurant: Great food, service, and staff, special mention to Marvin—he is just the best. In short, the Andaz West Hollywood is not just a hotel, it is where we feel home, with family and friends who welcome us as part of the family. They play up the history of the hotel with the rock n roll theme and I enjoy that. Check in was a breeze and the gentleman was extremely nice and welcoming. He did welcome me as a globalist member and apologize there were no complimentary suites available for my two night stay. When we arrived to the room, we were a little puzzled about the condition of the room as a category 6 property. That changed to anger when my mother bumped her knee of the vanity and the heavy wood covering the sink plumbing fell onto her toes. I reported the issue to the front desk and went to dinner. He said they would fix it, but when we returned the wood panel was still on the floor and there was no mention from the hotel on the status of fixing it or moving us to another room. After that you start noticing other little things such as stains on the carpet and the fact that the shower curtain wasn’t even long enough to keep all the water contained into the tub. I used points for the two night stay, and I did receive free valet parking and breakfast. I will look elsewhere next time in LA unless it drops to a category 3-4 where it probably belongs.
