Our company chose to stay the Chamberlain West Hollywood for our LA work retreat, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! The check in process was smooth; the rooms were spacious and very comfortable; and the restaurant was the best. We especially enjoyed Bryan, who assisted us with food and drinks during our daily meetings in the board room as well as afternoons at the rooftop and patio. He provided exceptional service and a delightful aura, which really created for a top tier experience for our team. Moving forward, we plan to continue to utilize the Chamberlain for LA work meetings and highly recommend it to others.

As an example of how poorly managed this hotel is and the way they like to cheat their customers all you have to do is look at their parking. There is no self parking for the hotel guests. They require all their hotel guests to do valet at $59/night. Let’s assume that is a reasonable expectation (it isn’t, but go with me). Where is the valet? Are they on the street where the hotel’s main entrance is? Where one would logically first go when they are checking in to the hotel? Where one would unload their bags? NO! The valet is in the underground parking garage which you can’t access without a room key (opens the gate). So you have to park on this absurd hill, you unload your bags, and go inside. No staff to greet you outside. Front desk clerk checks you in and gives you the key. No one to help with bags. And your car is still outside parked in a short-term spot. So you take your bags, go back to your car, drive around to the other side of the hotel where the parking is. Open the gate with your room key. Drive 100 feet and are greeted by the valet. And now you can finally go to your room. 3 levels of underground parking. But you have to pay $59 for a valet to drive your car 100 feet into an open spot. What a rip off. And I’m not sure why they’d want this to be a guest’s first experience at the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel is lovely. You can easily hear other hotel guests though. People above us were singing karaoke all night (poorly) and then this morning they spent the time yelling at each other. Can’t say I see the value in this hotel. I would not stay here again considering the many other options available.

The bartender Jimmy was great and very personable. The drinks were on point. You have to come visit him and the hotel. The hotel was amazing and close to all the best food places. We will definitely be coming back. West Hollywood is the happening place to be.

Stellar performance this trip …. I’m usually happy with the service at Chamberlain but this trip was not up to the service standards of previous visits. I had to constantly ask for towels, the floor was not vacuumed and the cleaning staff did not pick up bags of trash left in room. I asked for the room to be cleaned while I waited in room so I can witness for myself, however, they refused and instructed me to wait outside of room due to COVID restrictions.

I really enjoyed happy hour with Jimmy serving behind the bar! He was so kind and attentive from the moment I walked in. The selection of wine, drinks, and food were great, but his service made the experience perfect! Highly recommend stopping in for happy hour!
