The perfect place to rest
I recently stayed at the Sunset Marquis on Business and everything about the hotel was great yet again! I have stayed here a few times and it's the perfect spot if you want to me amongst the busyness of LA and near everything but also be able to switch off in a peaceful environment. I'd suggest staying in the Villas rather than the main hotel as the rooms are more spacious and you get complete privacy with sweeping views of LA! We were met by Sarah on the front desk who checked us in and was super helpful making our stay even more enjoyable!

A quiet gem, tucked away in a great location!
We spent two nights at the Sunset Marquis and had a great experience, overall. All of the staff we interacted with during our stay were friendly and welcoming, especially the person who helped us with our bags when we arrived (I can't remember his name). The hotel is quite stylish-looking, but also comfortable. The sofa and especially the beds were super comfy, and everything was very clean. The room was spacious, and even though we were directly above the pool, there was no issue with noise during the night - no earplugs needed. We don't usually stay at valet-only hotels, but it was kind of nice not having to worry about parking the car, and the valet was extremely fast to bring up our car each time we needed it. We were in town visiting family, so we didn't have time to use any of the ameneties or eat at the hotel restaurant, so I can't comment on that. We'll definitely do so the next time we stay here!

Great location great staff (shout out to Jesse) the villas are about as luxe and peaceful as one can get It's really a 5 star resort that borders Sunset Blvd!

Oasis in LA
The property is like a beautiful tropical oasis in the middle of LA. The location near Sunset plaza is excellent with restaurants nearby. It’s tucked away and not directly on the main road which makes it better. The room is spacious and bed comfortable. The restaurant is beautiful, good food and service. The breakfasts choices too were good. The front desk is very helpful so is the concierge. We spent 5 days and had a wonderful time.

Sunset Marquis is a stellar hotel. The team is thoughtful, attentive, gracious, knowledgeable… The rooms are spacious, crisp, & comfy. The restaurant is magically surrounded by lush landscaping & fabulous photos of legendary performers. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared. This, our 3rd stay, was wonderful!

Incredibly attentive, polite and cordial staff and accommodations. Our meal at The Room was one of the BEST we had in LA. We will definitely be back and can not wait to come and stay in the new Villas!

My husband and I just came home from a 4-night stay at one of the new villas at Sunset Marquis and we think it's one of the nicest properties we've ever stayed! It's not just the incredibly beautiful room, it's also the immaculate landscape, the well-trained friendly staff, and the 5-star quality food that will bring us back to Sunset Marquis the next time we're in the area. We had a very pleasant time there, great job to the staff!
