My wife and I come up to Perth every now and then from Bunbury and have stayed at the Duxton for the past couple of years. Consistently a great standard of service, right in the heart of the CBD and overlooking the river and the added optional bonus of valet parking (a must for overnight stays in Perth). This stay we opted for a Junior Suite with access to the Club Lounge - had something to compare this to as we’d recently stayed in the Intercontinental in Saigon (HCMC) - not quite on a par with the Intercontinental but really close with little separating them. The view over the Swan River from the Club Lounge though beats Saigon city views hands down. Highly recommend the Duxton when staying in Perth and we won’t stay anywhere else. Great work guys 👍

There is an issue with the room key at this hotel. It frequently errors, leaving me unable to enter the room and having to wait outside, yet I didn’t receive any apology. The elevator also requires a room key, but it often malfunctioned, which was very inconvenient.

The Duxton is just in a class of its own. Classy, stylish, very comfortable, beautiful decor, exceptional staff ( a BIG shout out for the MD, Riaz Mahmood, and Jervis, along with their whole team ). The Duxton is quiet, close to everything, very convenient to access Perth's famous Bridges Run and Ezilabeth Quay. This time of year, the Duxton adds its own Christmas pizzazz, reminiscent of my stays in Manhattan NY. Once again, a big thank you your exceptional hospitality and for making me feel at home.

We Spent one night at the Duxton Perth. I was there for a conference and moved from the Novotel Murray Street. The upgrade to a Swan River view suite was exceptional :The suite rooms and the Club lounge have been recently refurbished and they have done a magnificent job. The Check in with Christine was smooth. She clearly explained the features and services of the hotel. We saw ourselves to the room and were pleasantly surprised by a bottle of Margaret River White along with a minibar full of quality WA snacks and drinks which were complementary as part of our room. What was distinctly different at the Duxton was the staffing ratios. We have primarily stayed at Accor hotels due to our Platinum membership and the staffing levels were amazing compared with the Sofitels and Pullmans and MGallary hotels which are all 5 star. This is a credit to good management and this is what guests remember: Not if there was a 65 inch TV screen in the room. The room was amazingly well appointed . The bedding and soft furnishing exceptional and the amenities top shelf. The Room door does need some WD 40 : very noisy and creaky !! The Club lounge was a quiet and well appointed space on C2 : the highest floor. The staff were attentive and service driven with out being intrusive on the night of 23 November. The drinks were excellent but I guess if one did not like seafood or had an allergy then oysters and prawns may not have been the best. A slightly wider variety of savory foods would have been really good: The Satay beef was tough and felt dry and reheated. The Breakfast was busy and but very efficiently run : The Coffee orders and the poached eggs were made quickly. The selection of food was extensive that one felt spoiled for choice. Again the staffing levels were excellent and that made for an enjoyable Breakfast. we were given late check out which helped in that our Flight to Adelaide was in the late afternoon and then were grateful to be allowed to sit in the club Lounge since it was a 33 C day outside. I would highly recommend the Duxton, and would stay there again when we return to Perth. Thank you : Sam and Angela

We visited in November as part of a large business booking. The hotel itself is very nice, lovely lobby area, rooms are very spacious, and everything is kept very clean. We only used the restaurant for breakfast but the food options were fantastic. The gym was small but had everything you needed for a morning workout. The only improvements that need looking at are… there is nowhere to setup a laptop to do a bit of work. If you wanted to sit in the bar area know that it’s closed in the afternoon before 4pm and seems to close in the evening at 10am. Overall, good location, good food, nice rooms, we would visit again
