A Few Days Away
We had a great time at Nottoway. They are in a remodel phase so we there weren’t many staying there. Everyone was warm & friendly, made sure we had everything we needed. It was fun getting to meet the staff. Jessica gave us a great tour of the mansion, we would definitely recommend Jessica as she was so knowledgeable of Nottoway and the area and fun to visit with. Thanks Nottoway for a fun visit.

In my opinion the most beautiful plantation that I have visited, Hunter the guide has generations of family member that have worked there and knows so much about it. Being able to sleep in the actual main house rooms makes this the most unique experience, magical! You actually feel like you live there. Just ask about restaurant hours otherwise you may get hungry!

A "must" visit; beautiful venue inside &out! Excellent experience!
The tour we experienced yesterday with the very knowledgeable gentleman who obviously had a love for not only history but old homes. Being a former owner of a pre-civil war home in the Catskill mountains it was enjoyable to share like-knowlege. We could tell he loved his work! He was an excellent historian. We thank him for his time. The plantation is exceptional. Definitely worth the trip from anywhere and everywhere.

Lost its glory
Nottoway could be a beautiful and educational look into the past. However, due to changing management, the glorious mansion is not up to the Nottoway of bygone days. No restaurant, peeling paint, overall look of disuse.

Lovely being renovated
This property ie stunning ! The staff is excellent and the room I stayed in was lovely. It was nice to hear the ship in the Mississippi It s like stepping back in time with today’s amenities They seem to be renovating parts of the property . I hope the put a spa and yoga classes in
