Rathsallagh House

Rathsallagh House is simply magical. It is warm and welcoming, full of charm and character with all its nooks and crannies and hidden little gems. Its warm fires, comfortable couches, charming bar, the list is endless. It is the house that keeps on giving with its twists and turns and secret gardens. It's setting is so beautiful with all the trees and greenery even in the rain but it is it's people that is its heart. Each and every staff member are just so wonderful, from the receptionist to the wedding co-ordination team, the bar staff to each and every server. They were polite, friendly and engaging, nothing was to much for them. We had the most perfect 2 days for our wedding and there isn't one thing that that we would change. All of our guests loved their say. They haven't stopped raving about the spectacular rooms and the delicious food. If you are considering a wedding here, do it, stay here, it is fabulous in every way.

Went to a wedding at Rathsallagh last weekend. Absolutely everything was top class. Food service location. Staff werre so helpful and accommodating. Food at the wedding reception was superb but the piece de resistance was the breakfast buffet the next morning, scotch quails eggs, brie and pumpkin quiche and stuffed tomatoes, never mind the ham on the bone.

Hugo and I would like to firstly extend our sincere thanks to all the incredible team at Rathsallagh and the O’Flynn Family for hosting our Wedding Celebrations at Rathsallagh House. I have worked in Rathsallagh since October 2021 as a Wedding Coordinator and from the moment I stepped into Rathsallagh for a job interview with Catherine and Joe, I knew it was a spectacular venue ~ The homely feel as I walked through the house, and gardens was just out of this world. It was a cold October day, and the lovely Catherine brought me into the drawing room to have a chat ~ The fire was lighting, and I just knew straight away, that I could see myself working here. The staff, the enchanting gardens, the drawing rooms and of course the beautiful Pavilion blew me away as I watched the team set-up for an incoming wedding. In December 2021, Hugo decided to call in to Rathsallagh for a little look around to see where I now worked. As he hopped back into the van, Jokingly, he said, “have a look when you go back to office and see what dates are available next year”. I laughed and thought no more of it! In February 2022, he proposed, and I just knew we had to get married in Rathsallagh! We sat down with Catherine and decided to have our wedding here on Mid-Summer's Day ~ Friday, 21st June 2024. We got married in Kilquiggan Church, Co. Wicklow and made our way back to Rathsallagh in a beautiful Vintage Morgan, reminiscing on our Ceremony. When we arrived, the heavens decided to open, but it didn’t dampen our day, with the cosy drawing rooms and ample photo opportunities so we didn’t get wet! As our guests arrived, they were looked after by the team with umbrellas as they were escorted to their rooms. The atmosphere was electric as we made our way into the drink’s reception where Bow Musique String Quartet were playing, guests were chatting, and the magician Jamie Skelton was entertaining our lovely guests. Drinks were flowing, and the delicious Canapes were being devoured! My right-hand woman, Benny, had the venue set-up just perfectly. Finesse Weddings took care of all our flowers on the day and the Pavilion looked incredible – It was like walking into a Fairytale! For our meal, we had a beautiful Roasted Organic Vegetable Soup ~ A real crowd pleaser after the rain! For starters, we had the deliciously Crispy Spiced Chicken Spring Roll and for mains we had the 6oz Fillet of Irish Beef cooked to temperature for all (mouth-wateringly good!) and the Grilled Fillet of Seabass. To finish, we had the Warm Berry Crumble with Rathsallagh’s homemade Vanilla ice-cream. The meal was just incredible – A huge thank you to all the wonderful Chef’s. We continued with a little surprise for the guests (even Hugo) of Singing Waiters and what a teat they were! Everyone was up, dancing and singing! It was a fantastic transition into our band, After Dark. I can honestly say, the level of service the Rathsallagh Team provide is second to none. To experience Rathsallagh from the other side was just amazing, and I now know how other couples feel when they get married here. The relaxed, homely, and friendly atmosphere is like no venue I’ve ever been to before for a wedding. I must also mention the spacious, comfortable and tastefully designed bedrooms and of course the spectacular spread for Breakfast! Baked ham, Charcuterie Boards, Full Irish, smoothies, fresh fruit… It was just delicious! We would like to extend our thanks to Catherine, Joe, Benny, Amy, Dylan, Mick and all the team who looked after us to absolute best for our Wedding Day. We cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for us. Our Guests are still commenting on the beautiful food, the atmosphere, the amazing staff and level of service they provided us. Well what can we say a beautiful venue, amazing food and the best wedding team and staff you can ask for. They had everything perfect and what ever you needed they were there. We cannot thank Rathsallagh enough for making our wedding so amazing. Such a beautiful place to get married our guests haven't stopped talking about it.

We cannot express our gratitude for everything that Rathsallagh has done for us and giving us the best day of our entire lives. It exceeded any expectations either of us had and that is truly down to all the team at Rathsallagh. The staff at this venue are exceptional! Joe was a pleasure to deal with. All staff were incredible - from Rose at reception, Amy, Catherine, Olivia and Tara from the wedding team and Dylan who was there 24/7 on the day to make sure everything was perfect. Big thanks to all the chefs for the incredible food and the bar staff for their great service. I am probably forgetting to mention other names but all the staff were truly incredible! We are still receiving comments from our friends and family on how the venue in all aspects was amazing! Thanks again to all the staff at Rathsallagh!
