Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle because of its lush green landscape, but within Ireland, there is a county known as the oegarden of Ireland”. An oases within a paradise, County Wicklow, on the eastern shore, is kept temperate by the gulf stream, and is home to Ireland(TM)s greatest gardens. Call one of these gracious gardens home, if only temporarily, when you stay at Tinakilly Country House and Restaurant. Set at the end of oak-lined avenue, Tinakilly House is enveloped by seven acres of pleasure gardens overlooking the Irish Sea and Broadlough Coastal Lagoon. The stunning sea views, romantic gardens, grand old house and surrounding hinterland of Tinakilly captures the essence of Irish country living to delightful perfection.

Lovely atmosphere created by management and staff. Couldn't find anything to complain about. Great attention and service at a wedding. Suggest feather pillow option but I didn't ask, so may be there. Grounds are beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

Was so disappointed from start to finish ,no heating on second floor and no maintenance man to sort the problem . Requested change of room but they’re weren’t any available .found the house musty and in need of a refurbishment. Tried to contact hotel by letter to complain , phoned also to request to speak to a person in charge to the present we have not had any feed back.Had we had our own transport with us on that evening we would have headed home.

On entering as part of a wedding party we were met by an older gentleman who appeared suspicious of us being there and followed us down tge corridor asking where we were doing. I then asked if we could get a drink and he ignored me and was arrogant and pure rude and not at all suited to his position. Room was appealing at €200 euros. Old mismatched furniture and shoddy all round. Grounds lovely. Service at reception very poor. Staff didn’t seem to have a clue. Breakfast was also dreadful. What more can I say. A disaster

What can i say, from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and at ease. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful and gave us all the info we needed. Our room was lovely, very tastefully decorated with a nice view onto the gardens. Drinks in the little bar area were just lovely with attentive and friendly staff. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious as was the breakfast, The grounds here are spectacular and lovely to wander around.
