Surrounded by breathtaking views of the Wicklow Mountains and Blessington Lakes, Wingate Tulfarris Hotel & Tulfarris Golf is a true country estate. This expansive sanctuary just an hour from Dublin includes as its centerpiece the acclaimed Tulfarris House, built in 1760 on the grounds of Tulfarris Castle. Traditionally elegant, refinement-exuding bedrooms feel as if they belong in a private manor house. And dining is particularly stylish at the Balcony Restaurant, serving fresh fish, Wicklow mountain lamb and succulent Irish beef with a side of spectacular lake views.

Have stayed in Tulfarris many times and it is a lovely hotel in a lovely location near the Blessington lakes and a good base for exploring Wicklow's beauty. Rooms are big and comfortable with a good bathroom and water. coffee and tea in the room on arrival. Reception staff are friendly and efficient. Restaurant was good - we had three courses as part of our Dinner and B&B deal. Starters excellent and a nice touch to get a little taster on the house beforehand. We both had the beef and I felt it was a little dry and did not quite match the truffle/lentil jus. Desserts were good though - tiramisu sponge is a delight. Service was really good. Bar is fine - we have eaten there before but cocktails while good are overpriced at €15. Also they don't seem quite sure why they are bar service or table service - seems to be a mix of both which can be a bit annoying. Breakfast is buffet style with a mix of cooked and continental and a good choice but the fact they don't have fried eggs is annoying. If you don't have fried eggs in your buffet then say this when you are being seated as everyone is going to want to order them and actually eat them with the rest of their breakfast. Of course by the time we realised we had to order them we had already started breakfast and of course our order was forgotten about so after waiting some time we had to cancel it after being told the order never went through. So, Tulfarris either have fried eggs as part of your selection (like most hotels) or advise your guests when they are being seated that they have to order and take that order

Our stay at Tulfarris was a gift from our children. We got a lovely welcome when we arrived and I went for a massage which I had pre booked. The spa has newly opened and is amazing. So relaxing. Our room was luxurious and spotless. Comfy beds with stunning views of the golf course. We ate in the restaurant first night and bar the second night. The food was out of this world!! Sumptuous fine dining in the restaurant and delicious tasty food in the bar. Pints of Coors were best we ever tasted. The service was flawless, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make our visit special. They were so friendly and professional, ensuring great attention to detail. Plenty to do between walks, spa and golf with Russborough House and Naas just a short spin away. We would highly recommend Tulfarris for a relaxing luxurious get away. Hugh and I are looking to a return visit!!!

Just enjoyed a fabulous 2 day stay at Tulfarris Hotel. The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated and had a stunning view of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, with panoramic views of the golf course from the huge windows. We dined in the Brasserie Bar on each evening, enjoying dinner in the relaxed atmosphere. I had a very relaxing facial and head massage at the new spa, thanks to my therapist Gemma who was amazing. I would fully recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway - you’ll drift out the gates on your way home!

Just back from a super relaxing break. The Tulfarris Hotel is a beautiful hotel. We Loved the room. Bed is extremely comfy. Had the best two nights sleep. Great breakfast in the morning. Great bar with music. Staff are all professional and friendly from the bar staff, receptionists and the housekeeping staff. The staff are a credit and an asset to the hotel. We didn't avail of the Bar food or restaurant this time but we will definitely be back.

Just returned having spent 4 nights at the lovely hotel. We had a very enjoyable time, the hotel itself, is smart, modern, with a real warm, welcoming atmosphere. If there were a Michelin Star that could be awarded to staff, from all areas in this hotel, domestic service, catering service or hospitality service, Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort would wipe the board, their helpfulness, friendliness & can do attitude permeates throughout the hotel. Congratulations all, thank you, it was a pleasure to be your guest.
