Our stay at Kingsmill was sub par. We were pleasantly surprised with the grounds and beauty of the resort. However once we got our room our kids wanted to leave. It was very, very small. Ground level, dark and dingy. Only two working lamps in the whole room. Balcony was covered in mold, not useable. Closet was musty and dusty and we were not able to put anything in it. Bathroom was beyond tiny and neither the room or the bathroom resembled the pictures of what we booked. We also paid extra for a water view and had a view of a fence and few trees. Indoor and outdoor pool were great, but sadly would not stay here again. Check in is listed as 4 pm. We arrived to hotel at 3, told our room would be ready shortly. At 4:30 we had to follow up and were told they were busy. We did not get into our room until almost 5. We wanted to see if we Could get switched to a different room due to its condition but it was so late already.

Filthy beds - small black droppings, hairs, blood stains - out of a horror movie. Photos are of the master bed. There was also filth on the others. Hotel was unable to offer an alternate room for our family. They offered housekeeping but could not provide a new mattress. Beware. Thank you Hilton for last minute far better accommodations.

It was a pleasant place to have a conference. The grounds were nice, and the staff was courteous. Enid was a super friendly staff member who helped me and others get across the property. Jasmine in the James Landing was also super nice. There were others but those two stood out. Beds were super comfy.

We just stayed at the Kingsmill resort. Our favorite part of the trip was a beach campfire next to the bay. Isaac, the marina director, delivered some of the best customer service we ever had on any of our trips. Some from our crew called it “magical.” I would call it an unforgettable experience.

Super Super Super service from the staff members we encountered. This is what brings us back twice a year. We LOVE the service.

My family and I recently returned from a 5 night stay at Kingsmill Resort. Our experience was terrific. The resort offered great tennis, golf, fishing, etc. -- so much to do even with a day or two at Colonial Williamsburg and the parks, that we were tempted to stay an extra day... I would recommend this resort without qualification to friends, family and to my company for sales meetings.
