A true sense of feeling at home away from home. The decor is beautiful, the rooms super spacious and comfy. Breakfast, which isn’t lavish, is served by chef Jo with a personal touch. The shared balcony is a blessing… I could go on and on 🙏Special thanks to Tammy

Such a beautiful B&B. The rooms were spacious, the bed comfortable, great shower and bathroom area. Everything we needed in our room including outside balcony area. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and coffee/tea was always available. The location was perfect just outside downtown and not far from Menil gallery (which btw is closed Monday/Tuesday). We found the local information booklets very helpful and last but not least the ladies (and men) in charge were very friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights and would love to stay again.

La Maison certainly deserved this 5 star review. Their communications from start to finish regarding the reservation, hotel details, etc. were timely and clear. Our room (201) was just few steps from the elevator, well appointed with quality furniture, high ceiling, immaculately clean bath room, very quiet with a super comfortable bed. Parking was free ($40-60 per night at most Houston hotels). They even had a complimentary happy hour with adult beverages. Tommi greeted us before we even walked in. She is a lovely lady who even gave us a recommendation for a great, nearby casual Italian restaurant (Piola). Be sure to enjoy their fresh cooked breakfast - delicious! We will be sure to stay their next time we are in Houston.

Great location midway between the theater district and the Houston fine arts museum. An easy walk to Brennan's, which has a theater shuttle bus. Maison staff are cordial; there's a nice happy hour in the late afternoon. Free parking in a lot on the Maison property. The rooms are generous in size, with high ceilings and a veranda.

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and the stay and staff were wonderful. The place was clean, comfortable, quiet, nice, and breakfast was amazing!!!! Tommi (sorry if I misspelled your name) was also amazing, and funny. Thank you again for a wonderful experience and we will definitely book again once we're back in Houston. The Barnes RM304

The owners really make you feel like you're both a guest in their home and a VIP - and let you easily slip back and forth between the two roles.
