Buckland Manor

We arrived late on a wet and cold Friday night only to be greeted with receptionist and an umbrella, from that moment we knew we had chosen the right place to stay! And that pretty much summed up the weekend, helpful and friendly staff without being intrusive! The food was exceptional! The room was perfect with a modern bathroom! Bed was super comfortable! Looking for a relaxing and cosy stay in the Cotswolds, look no further!

Something like our tenth stay at Buckland, as ever comfortable, immaculately clean and with very pleasant staff. I understand that their elderly customers, of which we are two, do not have enormous appetites but the portions at the otherwise excellent dinner, do seem to be getting smaller and smaller. On our second day the room was not made up until 3.30, something l do find a little irritating.

Everything about the hotel, from the moment we arrived to when we (sadly) checked out was perfect. We'll definitely be returning.

This a very peaceful hotel set in tranquil gardens. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming at the same time professional. It is clean and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay there and would definitely return ourselves and recommend to others.

Decided to visit Broadway for a short stay to both celebrate my wife’s birthday and kick off our retirement. Chose Buckland Manor based on reviews and was not disappointed, room was the size you expect, strange that with so few guests you would expect upgrades a plenty as is the norm. However, the room was comfortable after the exceptional staff sorted the radiator and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The big plus is the food, having eaten at Ramsey at the Savoy, Marco Pierre White in Chelsea and Jamie at St Paul’s the Chef at Buckland made them all look like McDonald’s. Good breakfast, not the greatest, but the staff make up for any shortfalls.
