Reflecting the tropical beauty of eastern Africa, the Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar, part of the Lifestyle collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, offers a luxurious island getaway. This beachfront island resort, using native makuti roofs and Arabic towers as design influences, is conveniently located on the coast, with the serene Indian Ocean as a backdrop. Antique furniture and a cream and gold color scheme in the rooms add to the tranquil atmosphere.

Decent stay. Lots to do. Small rooms for money value. Seem to serve mocktails instead of cocktails or very watered down cocktails. Food selection/quality was ok but not exceptional. Venue position was awesome. Very courteous / helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfy - sometimes it felt a little tight for all our stuff but we slept well and liked the turn-down service. Food was good and the buffet was amazing every morning and night. They had great entertainment every night at supper. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone stopped for conversation. There was so much to do - we did horse riding (we had to pay separately) but there were many free things to do too like putt putt, bike rides, tennis, basketball etc. There was a beautiful private beach (maybe have more shaded spots in the future because it tends to get very hot), the resort was beautiful and well-maintained. We also went via the hotel bus to Stone Town but I wish the staff had prepared us better because we were accosted by local guides upon departing the hotel bus in Stone Town and some of the guides were following us around. I do think some things were pricey and I found it strange that everything was in American USD. There were also always 'service charges' added to every transcation (they tell you beforehand). But this I found to be the case throughout Zanzibar. Overall, it was lovely, we had time to relax, we had quiet time and could spend our days lounging by the pools. I would recommend this place and I would go back.

We had wonderful days at Sea Cliff. The area is very beautiful and the hotel provides many activities and options. The rooms are not new, but very nice and clean with a fantastic sunset view. The restaurant served different buffés every night for the whole week, which we appreciated much. The employees are very friendly, positive an helpful. Special thanks to the waiters Nasser and Mickdad who both were very professional in a nice personal way. We also wants to thank Ellis, manager of the golf club, for his warm welcoming.

I choosed this resort for its westcoast location having sunsets over the sea, which was really nice. WiFi was sometimes slow, mobile reception sketchy and a few short blackouts shouldnt disturb you. They had a quite good organised New Years Eve Party :-)

A very nice hotel and unique location on the island. The rooms are tired and need modernising, great staff helpful and happy. All the amenities are great, tennis mini golf, Golf course, Gym. Amazing sunsets and Pools,
