Six Senses Zighy Bay

This hotel was on my bucket list for a very long time ! I will start with positives, the villa was beautiful and very private, we really enjoyed the pool. I loved there are bikes to cycle around & the beach and views are very beautiful! The out door shower is so amazing! However the very basic things eg an iron, was not In The room and upon request to have one delivered it took a very long time 45 mins and we missed the sunset, perhaps I definitely should have organized this earlier but as they were very hands and all about customer service I thought it would be fine. The customer service is a little over board and lost its authentic feel, it felt very robotic rather then relaxed. Finally the food, I was so excited to try Oman food with Arabian spices but was definitely below average! Was a real disappointment, including dinner and breakfast Way over priced, I really don’t mind to pay for an experience but sadly this one wasn’t worth it, we considered to extend but very quickly changed our mind. It’s way over priced & that’s ruins the experience. Thanks six senses, I will definitely not be returning

Staying at the Six Senses resort was an unforgettable experience, one that is hard to put into words. Perhaps the best way to describe it would be with the sound "aaaaah!" My Mum and I went there for a ladies' retreat, and we can't imagine a better place to spend that time together. From the moment a driver brings you to the gates of Six Senses, you are greeted by the sound of a welcome gong. It’s all a perfect ritual, a symphony of the senses. The doors open, and you can already feel that the entire staff will ensure that none of your senses goes neglected. It’s pure luxury, but not the kind you’re used to. This luxury goes right to the roots of life itself. Everything was flawlessly orchestrated, light and effortless, with nothing ever being a problem. The most beautiful part was that we felt like we became part of this big, kind Omani family, even if just for a while. The food was breathtaking. Our recommendation? Definitely take the Dhow Cruise! Even just for 2 hours! Every corner of the resort was thoughtfully designed. The divine massages at the local spa. The lifeguard who accompanied us into the water so we wouldn't be too afraid of the waves. Thank you so much for this indescribable sensory experience. We’re definitely coming back next year! We stayed in July and have had an absolutely lovely time, from ALL the staff we met through to the food experiences the accommodation to the resort itself. We have been fortunate to have stayed here before and the experience never fades. We cannot thank everyone enough to make our holiday the best we could have had. Lots of food experiences, cocktails all the best quality and beautifully prepared. It was lovely to see the staff who have looked after us in the past and they excelled again in making our experience so so good. This is in my opinion a fantastic place to visit for a relaxing holiday.

WOW. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in globally and that includes Ritz-Carlton, One & Only, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental properties worldwide. First, the location is phenomenal. It is set in a bay and the only way you can access the property is through a private entrance that goes up/down a steep mountainside. So it's very quiet and you only share the spaces (restaurants, pools, beach) with other guests. Second, the hotel is beautifully designed. It is sympathetic to the environment and authentic to the local culture. The pictures truly don't do it justice as it's the most clever balance of extreme luxury with a rustic vibe. There's no amenity you are without within your own accommodation or across the property (e.g. multiple pools, restaurants, beach, spa). We stayed in a Pool Villa Suite Beachfront and can't say enough for how impressive the views are and indulgent the space is... Third, the food is delicious. Not only are the menus full of selection and expertly curated, they also have their own organic garden (which you can visit) and make their own cheese. So most of what you consume was grown / caught locally and extremely fresh! Fourth, and perhaps the most important point is the team... They are an absolute dream. Nothing was too much and they anticipated every need. In fact, each Villa is assigned a GEM (Guest Experience Manager) and ours was Feroz. He was kind, extremely helpful on all requests (and we had a few random ones), available at any hour and did everything with a smile. We were temped to see if we could take him home because he made our stay so pleasant...but instead, we'll be back. Highly recommend this place for everyone and anyone who wants a great, relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The only downside is that you never want to leave! We had the perfect stay. Everything was excellent (food, service, amenities). I also wanted to especially thank Said from teens club for being very kind and helpful with our son. Great vacation overall, I highly recommend to anyone wanting some relaxing and fun time with the family!
