Wonderful in Nearly Every Way
Comfortable clean rooms, fabulous beach, gracious and helfpul staff who will happily accommodate your special needs, gorgeous gardens. I recommend everything about this lovely spot except the quality of lunch and dinner options. Breakfast is solid.

Absolutely the nicest staff of any establishment, anywhere. Stay was flawless, start to finish. Very clean, beautifully situated and did I mention how nice everyone was? Lots of small details contributed to our experience. We’re thinking of making it an annual trip.

LOVE this place!!
This January was our 3rd time there - we stayed for 10 days. The moment our cab pulled up at the door we were greeted warmly, invited inside & offered refreshing agua de jamaica. We stayed in LS12 which consists of 2 large bedrooms connected by a very large open air roofed living room. This is ideal for 2 couples traveling together. The beach is lovely as always, the infinity pool is my happy place, the palapas are perfect for relaxing as a retreat from the beach & pool, and the staff is so attentive. Helpful & instantly there when you need them, but not obtrusive. My favorite person to see at breakfast in Hao is Elli :-) This trip I did get an amazing treatment at the Spa - full body exfoliation for 30 min plus a 30 min massage - the only downside is that I didn't get the 60 min massage - I didn't want it to end :-) Being at the Thompson is just lovely and already we are planning another return visit.

Thompson Zihuatanejo- Great vacation getway
Went for my son and his fiancés destination Wedding. This location is paradise. The facilitates, weather and staff were excellent. Great experience from the time you work up until you went to bed. Ventured into the city and had a great time shopping, eating and experiencing the area. Would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Thompson Zihuatanejo was a slice of paradise
Thompson Zihuatanejo is an incredibly relaxing, well staffed and beautiful property. It felt like the way a Mexico resort vacation should be - no crazy drunk crowds but extremely relaxing, beautiful weather and calm waters at the beach. We loved kayaking, loved the Hyatt Globalist benefits including an amazing breakfast, and the staff was very attentive to our needs.
