This is our second time staying at the Thompson we enjoyed our stay here the rooms and grounds are beautiful . The pools are wonderful and comfortable temperature . The beach service is amazing from many of the servers Francisco and Victor were always there to make your beach time relaxing and fun . We got to experience a mother turtle lay eggs at night on La ropa beach and also baby sea turtle release . The restaurants are very good love the breakfast at the Thompson . We highly recommended the Thompson beautiful setting and staff is amazing . We are excited to come back again .

This hotel has a lot of potential. Sadly it didn't live up to its potential. We were in one of the swimup rooms. WiFi barely worked. Room was spacious, however not enough closet space for 2 people. Front desk staff are great. Poor lighting means it is very hard to read in bed.

Amazing stay! We ended up getting a beach suite. We are Hyatt Globalist and we are always treated so well by Hyatt. The room had a gorgeous view and amazing 2nd floor balcony with plunge pool. You could hear the ocean waves as you slept which was so relaxing. Food was all amazing. Highly recommend the Mexican buffet. We are not buffet ppl but the flavors were amazing and was fun to try several things sms make sure to taste all of the salsas. The darker one was so good on almost everything. Recommend taking a taxi to the town. 100 pesos each way flat rate. Taxi to hotel is 700 and back is 500. Plenty of ATMs in the city as well if you need more cash at banks. Recommend going to dinner in the city. It’s fun and can shop around for gifts and some great places. The staff was all amazing and look forward to coming back. Best spot in the city on the beach!

Service in all areas of the resort was excellent. Beach service by Francisco was exceptional. Maria’s beach stretching and Pilates was also exceptional and I would highly recommend taking a class or two. Very warm water and a beautiful clean beach.

Fantastic hotel, right on the lovely La Ropa beach. Plenty of sunloungers, each with either a palapa or umbrella, so you can choose whether you would like shade or sun. Staff, without exception, were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you....even helping us to continue our learning of the Spanish language. Food and drinks are more expensive than downtown, but are still cheaper than US or UK hotels. Quality was also decent, especially the breakfast options. Glad to see that there is mexican authenticity in the dishes and they haven't been made "american" style like a lot of locations in Cabo, Cancun, etc. Room good size, aircon effective although slightly noisy. Grounds are immaculately maintained. 20 minute walk to downtown. Will definitely be back.
