A clean, inviting dog friendly beach stay
Our Yorkie's favorite hotel, and our favorite beach. Staff is professional and the rooms are cozy. From checkin to checkout staff is accommodating and the 'Dean's Sweets' chocolates are great. Lower levels may be a bit noisier (we were offered a free upgrade but declined as lower level is more accessible with the dog). Room was clean and comfortable.

Exceeded expectations.
Our stay at the inn exceeded our expectations. The suite was comfortable and cozy. The staff were so special. So friendly. You can tell that they love their jobs. The food in the restaurant was tasty and there was no need to leave the inn and drive to another restaurant. Our dog loved her stay and enjoyed her inn by the sea biscuits. We had nice walks down to the beach and visited the beautiful lighthouse nearby. A special shout out to Shirley, Mark, and our very friendly servers in the restaurant , especially the young woman who is taking her dad to a Yankee game!!! I think her name was Riley. Go Yankees!! We will definitely be back. Just wish it was closer to our home in the Bronx. Highly recommend!!

A must stay on the Maine Coast
There is insufficient space to write about how wonderful Inn by the Sea is. Located on the gorgeous Crescent Beach, it has trails that lead to the neighboring state park. We prefer to go in the off-season, and it is just as amazing, if not more, in its quiet splendor. As for the Inn, the service is amazing, they think of everything and are extremely pleasant. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, so much so that we called to find out what the mattresses are so we could purchase one for our home. Sea Glass restaurant never fails to impress. Right now the chef's winter menu is up and you really need to try the brussels sprouts and chicken saltimbocca. I have yet to try the spa, but maybe next time.

Winter wonderland
Wonderful winter getaway. Wonderful service, Comfy bed, great food and fantastic views. The room was spacious and had extra features like binoculars for bird watching over the water. Another great feature was the espresso coffee maker in the room,

Perfection!!
Amazing experience from start to finish. Exceptional staff, location, cuisine (and cocktails) and amenities. My husband and I enjoyed Inn By The Sea recipe cocktails and a light dinner in the lounge. Delicious. Our walk on the beach - was lovely as was our return to our Beach Suite. Everything was A+++ Absolutely perfect - benchmark for the industry!
