Inn by the Sea

We stayed in one of the Beach Suites. The room was beautiful and well appointed. The porch looking onto the Ocean was great. It had 2 rocking chairs and 2 regular chairs. It was really nice to sit out there. It was a little awkward that the porches all are next to each other so if someone is outside on their porch you really don't have any privacy. You can hear people below you and next to you talking on their porches. We enjoyed walking on the boardwalk to get to the Ocean and walking on the Ocean. It was very nice. We also ate several meals at Sea Glass Dining. It is a very small dining room so you really do need reservations. The Lounge across from the dining room had first come first serve meals and it was very crowded with people waiting for someone to leave so they could sit down. The quality of the food was exceptional and the service was great. The only down side is that you have to bundle up and go outside to get from the Beach Suite to the main building that has the restaurants. Overall a nice get away.

My favorite place to go every year at this time. The weather is cool but not too cold. The beach is beautiful for a walk. Close to Portland for some great food. Very relaxing and serene. Look forward to going every year. The best part is we get to stay at a great hotel with our dog.

Another thing that holds a special place in our hearts is their unwavering support of Pawsitively 4 Pink, a nonprofit that aids low-income women diagnosed with breast cancer. The Inn by the Sea consistently comes through with donations for our events, demonstrating generosity that speaks volumes about their values. This is just another reason we make it a priority to visit several times a year. The Inn by the Sea holds a unique place in our lives, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway. Just an amazing experience at Inn by the Sea! Such incredible service from the staff, stunning accommodations, 10/10! We had our girls weekend there and it was the perfect place to unwind while still having your own private space. Would recommend!

We’ve stayed there several times and always enjoy it. Super friendly staff, clean, nice view and great beds. We get the double-double rooms which have a huge bathroom and a big, big shower. Restaurant people are very nice and knowledgeable, decent selection on the menu. The bar makes a great Manhattan!
