Carriage House Inn

The Carriage House is in an excellent location and they have their own parking lot. When we visit Carmel, we prefer to walk everywhere. So staying here was an absolute delight! The bed was the perfect balance of firm support and cloud-like comfort. The room was fresh, bright, and beautifully appointed. And the fireplace was easy to use. The staff truly go above and beyond; they are warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making sure you enjoy your stay. The complimentary breakfast was divine, making mornings a highlight. Plus, there are so many thoughtful extras—I’m still using the insulated drink bottle they kindly provided! This place really knows how to blend luxury with those special touches that make you feel at home. Highly recommend!

I do recommend Carriage House Inn if you drive or rent a smaller vehicle. The parking has some very small spots if you don't get a limited few of the bigger spaces. Besides the parking, I would recommend the Carriage House Inn. We stayed in Room 10 which was very spacious, clean and well appointed. There is a King Size Bed in this room, with a desk and a separate table for your in room breakfast. There is also a fireplace which would be nice during the winter months. The bed is Amazingly comfortable. We stayed in early November and the room was very warm. Please note there is no air conditioner but even with a fan it stays pretty warm. We did try to open the door one evening to get a cross breeze with the open windows but were greeted with a family of three raccoons. The breakfast is chosen from a list and one from each category for each guest in the room. We had Quiche, Bakery Items, Yogurt with Berries and Fresh Coffee and Creamer each morning. All was very good. They also have a nice meet and greet time around 5 with hors d'oeuvers a plenty and wine tasting. Another advantage to staying here is you are within walking distance of everything Carmel has to offer.

Everything was awesome! The room, the bed/Pillows, the breakfast, the location is perfect, parking is an awesome plus, staff was super nice and helpful. We did not expect to utilize or enjoy The breakfast delivered to the room as much as we did. We figured in a place like Carmel there are so many great places to grab breakfast, which is true but after our stay we both really really enjoyed everything on the breakfast menu and the convenience of having it brought to our room was something we both loved way more than anticipated.

Carriage House was a wonderful place to stay on our first trip to Carmel. Wine at 5 with cheese and appetizers was a treat! Michelle and Victor were the best hosts and we enjoyed meeting people from all over. Carriage House has very nice rooms and a delicious breakfast (with the most amazing warm croissants!) brought to your room. We picked this inn because of the fantastic location but were impressed with the service and amenities. It's such an easy walk to shopping and unique restaurants. The beach was also a few blocks away and we highly recommend a morning walk to start your day with another at sunset for the amazing skies. We had a relaxing, wonderful stay!

The carriage house is one fantastic boutique place. The rooms, staff and small amenities all are above expectations. Would certainly recommend this place to any couple looking for a comfortable, well located place. If we make it back to Carmel, this will definitely be the place that we'll stay.
