French Quarter Inn

I was beginning to lose hope in this age of automation, bots, and AI! And then, we discovered old school hospitality and charm are not only alive and well but flourishing at French Quarter Inn in Charleston. I travel for a living and for fun. In over fifty years of hotel service, I have never been treated as well as the staff at French Quarter treated us. We were upgraded (without asking). Then, every detail was seen to. Room service was punctual and amazing! In fact, I never asked for anything during our stay that was not provided instantly. And, to top off our already great stay, the concierge helped us get reservations for dinner at some of the hardest-to-get tables in town. Location is primo in old town Charleston. Room quiet. Bed comfortable. I will not shop elsewhere when my travels take me back to Charleston. And, French Quarter Inn just might hurry that return.

This was our 1st time in Charleston and we cannot say enough good things about our stay at the French Quarter Inn. The location was perfect and we could walk to everything. The service was top notch from every employee we encountered- better than any Ritz Carlton we have experienced. We loved all the complimentary goodies- from the yummy hot breakfasts to the incredible charcuterie/wine at dinnertime followed by warm homemade cookies and milk at bedtime! There is also a 24/7 assorted candy bar at front desk as well!

Girls getaway to celebrate a special birthday. Staff delivered a delicious cake and bottle of champagne to our room. Bob, the bartender went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!

This is the PERFECT HOTEL! Our second time visiting and both times from arrival to departure everything and I mean EVERYTHING is absolutely perfect. Great friendly and helpful staff, beautiful accommodations where even the smallest thing or touch is perfection and a great location. Oh, wait until you meet Bob, the bartender and host during the daily wine and cheese event and later bar service 0 he's terrific. But Bob is only one of the entire staff that absolutely go out of their way to make you feel as if you're family.

We had a beautiful 25th anniversary at the French Quarter Inn. Everything could not have been more perfect champagne. Upon arrival they upgraded us to a suite a fabulous breakfast in the morning wine and cheese at 5:30 and chocolate chip cookies & milk at 8:30. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet and the hotel has a wonderful European eclectic flare. If you are looking for something really special in Charleston I would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be back.
