Amazing stay at the French Quarter Inn

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 hours ago

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Charleston Gem - French Quarter Inn** I just returned from an absolutely wonderful stay at the French Quarter Inn in Charleston, and I can't recommend it highly enough! This boutique hotel truly exceeded all my expectations. **Location & Accessibility**: The location is simply unbeatable - nestled right in the heart of Charleston's historic district, you're literally steps away from all the main attractions, incredible restaurants, and charming cobblestone streets. Getting around town was a breeze, and I loved that the hotel offers complimentary bike access. There's nothing quite like cycling through Charleston's tree-lined streets at your own pace! **Thoughtful Amenities**: The daily wine and cheese reception at 5 PM was such a delightful touch - it's the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring and meet fellow travelers. And those warm cookies every evening? Pure magic! These little touches really made it feel like a home away from home. **Comfort & Atmosphere**: Despite being in the bustling heart of the city, my room was remarkably quiet and peaceful. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every detail was thoughtfully appointed. The hotel strikes that perfect balance between elegant sophistication and cozy comfort. **Outstanding Staff**: The staff deserves special recognition - they were genuinely lovely, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure every aspect of my stay was perfect. Their local recommendations were spot-on! The French Quarter Inn captures everything magical about Charleston hospitality. I'm already planning my return visit!

A Really Great Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn for a couple of nights and fell in love with the hotel. Great service throughout our stay. The valet parking took care of the vehicle and had our luggage in the room before we made it to the room. Check-in was really nice with complimentary champagne. The room was fantastic. It was spacious, comfortable, and decorated very nicely. Great complimentary breakfast offered, and we really enjoyed the complementary Wine & Cheese hour + the warm Cookies and Milk hour offered a little later. They offer a very nice courtyard to sit and enjoy everything, and the Lobby area is extremely nice and inviting. Service was exceptional. The location is perfect. We walked to everything. Good selection of restaurants are very close, and next door is the outdoor market that is nice to visit. Overall, I absolutely loved this hotel and would stay here again.

Lovely boutique hotel, ideally located

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We spent a few nights at the French Quarter Inn and loved our stay! The hotel was very clean and comfortable (the beds! the pillows!) and we enjoyed the daily breakfast, charcuterie & wine, and cookies and milk. Bob, at the front desk, was very engaging and kept us entertained as well as giving us great recommendations for restaurants. Housekeeping was very good and non-intrusive, cleaning while we were sightseeing. The location is great -- we walked to everything except the Magnolia Plantation and the beaches we visited. We will recommend this boutique hotel to friends and family, and return ourselves if our travels find us back in Charleston.

Love the French Quarter Inn!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I love the French Quarter Inn. The location is close to the city market and just about everything else. We rarely take our car out once we valet and are able to walk everywhere. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are big and very clean and the amenities are great. The breakfast is more than enough with a beautiful courtyard to sit out and enjoy. They also have a happy hour that is the perfect place to go before leaving for dinner. I would highly recommend The French Quarter Inn.

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
