This has to be the best Inn I have ever stayed at! The staff were so professional, helpful and strive to please! The amenities were over the top, healthy, continental breakfasts, champagne, wine/cheese, great snacks, and convenient to much activities ! Totally recommend staying here; loved Charleston, and if I return, will stay again at this great inn! Great find ! Roseanne M from NJ

Personnel at French Quarter Inn are special people, very welcoming and helpful, especially Linda and Kevin. Very large rooms with exceptional bed linens. Charming terrace and cute bar. Amazing breakfast, wine and cheese at 5:30 pm, and cookies and milk before bed INCLUDED!

Our first trip to Charleston so picked this hotel based on reviews and location. It met all our expectations but has some flaws. Positives- As others have stated the daily breakfast and happy hour snacks are very convenient. All day coffee, tea, water is super. Great location. Friendly staff. New fitness center, we used it daily and fantastic- they have two pelotons, free weight set and many accessories. Everything is new. Flaws- Minus the fitness center, the hotel as a whole can use a face lift in several spots, the street level entry is not very grand and pretty dirty. We were pretty disappointed with the bed, just on the verge of worn out. Rest of room was nice. Note that there isn't really a bar to hang out at and be social. The bar is only used to deliver happy hour drinks. They should reconsider. My wife and I got back after dinner and pretty bummed couldn't sit and have a night cap. Overall, would say very solid choice but on verge of not being 4 stars.

This is a beautiful hotel located right in the center of Charleston. Walking distance to all the most famous restaurants and sites. The room was spacious and charming and the bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept in. There is also a pillow menu where you can choose from up to 7 different pillows! The bathroom is quite large as is the shower and the water pressure is great. There is a nice variety of breakfast fare daily as well as a lovely cocktail hour every day. I have to say the best thing about the French Quarter Inn is the staff. They are all wonderful and very accommodating. My stay here was a truly wonderful experience.

Overall this is a very nice place to stay in a great location. The check in was good, however the luggage was very late in getting to our rooms. We had to call a couple times and finally my husband went down to see what was taking so long. The young lady that checked us in was nice but did not really give us a lot of information …I had to ask her about breakfast (which was included ) …The room was very nice , the bathroom was a nice size and housekeeping was prompt and very good. We did really enjoy the breakfast which was included and also the wine and cheese in the evenings was spectacular …. As I mentioned the location is very good and makes walking to many great restaurants very easy. I would rate this hotel a 4 1/2 ….

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
