Christmas season in Charleston is special. We spent 3 nights with 2 couples who have been long time friends, and chose the French Quarter Inn as home-base. We were all impressed with all aspects of this excellent hotel. The location is central, non of us used our cars during the stay, walking to restaurants and entertainment. The atmosphere is one of elegant refinement, and the Christmas decorations were a special treat. Rooms are classy, exceptionally clean, and quiet. Bedding is luxury all the way, as are the toiletries, linens, and robes. Service is friendly and quick. The breakfast buffet was excellent, as were the afternoon cheese and wine, and evening cookies and sherry! We are already planning our Christmas vacation for next year back at the French Quarter.

This is a wonderful hotel, the location is great for walking to restaurants, shops, the harbor fountain area. The hotel as well as our room was very nice and clean, very quite in the evening, all staff members were very welcoming and the valet service was quick and easy. The breakfast , cocktail hour, and milk and cookies in the evening were excellent. Whenever we come back to Charleston we will definitely stay here, absolutely enjoyed our stay!

We have been having a great visit at the French Quarter Inn. The location is perfect for walking to all the sights. Our room is so comfortable and has everything we need. A great breakfast is included plus a wonderful wine & cheese hour there is also night cap service and candy with coffee & tea available all the time. So much value added when staying here, and the people from the valet, front desk and everyone else are all so kind and helpful they have really made our trip

We stayed at the French Quarter Inn during the Thanksgiving break. Overall it was a great stay, we enjoyed our time there and the staff was exceptional. Highlights for us included very clean and roomy rooms, comfortable beds, in a great location within easy walking distance for much of what you’re downtown to see or do, as well as many great restaurants nearby. Lots of great amenities too that we took advantage of and enjoyed… breakfast that you can take downstairs or have delivered to your room, wine/charchuterie and cheese reception in the evening, milk and cookies as a nightcap, and a self service candy bar that our kids hit multiple times per day. We would return in a heartbeat, highly recommend.

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
