From the moment we checked in, the service was absolute perfection. The staff (Bob, Kim & Marvin) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodating every request with a smile. Our room was stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully designed, along with an incredibly comfortable bed and high-quality linens. The amenities were top-tier, and the location made exploring Charleston incredibly convenient. Breakfast was delicious and Izzy made wine hour an absolute delight. We had a flawless experience from start to finish and cannot wait to return!

The difference between our last visit a couple of years ago and this visit was stark. The joy was gone and replaced by stressed out staff members that looked like they could be fired at any given second. It was uncomfortable. Additionally, the breakfast was superlative last time and subpar this time, less than a Hilton Garden Inn. Sleep, cleanliness, and location were all great. Happy Hour was the highlight.

We love everything about the FQI. The location is fabulous and everything is close by——the market, restaurants and shopping. The ambiance in this unique, boutique hotel is warm and welcoming. We have never stayed in a place that is so warm and with such great hospitality. The breakfast is so well done with something for everyone. We have stayed here many times and return again and again. The rooms are spacious and well done. The staff is wonderful….Kim, Marvin, Susan….and many more do everything to make us feel welcomed. We promise you will just love it!

I recently stayed at the French Quarter Inn in Charleston, and it truly exceeded expectations. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the historic district, making it easy to explore everything Charleston has to offer. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly accommodating, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire stay. Even better, the price point was very competitive compared to other high-end hotels in the area, making it an outstanding value for the experience provided. Whether you’re planning a relaxing getaway or a family vacation, I highly recommend checking out the French Quarter Inn—it’s an absolute gem.

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
