This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in! We loved that they give you an option to have breakfast delivered to your room daily. They also have free wine and cheese and milk and cookies daily plus champagne when you arrive. The location of the hotel was excellent, it was right near all the cool spots and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. I hope we can come back someday!

Where can I even begin with this most charming venue! We were in Charleston for my daughter's wedding in the beginning of October and we were lucky enough to stay at this gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in with the marvelous Kim, who went above and beyond to help us sort out our wedding guests room, gift bags and banquet reservations. Our rooms were spacious suites, which were decorated beautifully and most of all very charming, clean and cozy at the same time. The bellman (Kevin I believe) was most helpful with our luggage and very patient whilst moving luggage to 6 different rooms! Carisma and her team of wonderful housekeepers not only cleaned like a Genie, but was kind, friendly and a genuinely lovely person! Ruta, the most enjoyable bartender at the corner bar on the 1st floor, delighted us and our company with exotic drinks and some good laughs. Lastly, our banquet manager that checked in on us several times(during our hair and makeup session for the wedding) was soooo very helpful in arranging the layout, food, (restocking drinks and food as necessary) bringing in extra coat racks to hang the brides & bridesmaids dresses and on and on. I can't say enough about the lovely compassionate people that are working hard to make this hotel the 5 star property it is.

We had a fantastic experience at the French Quarter Inn. The staff were super courteous and helpful. Our room was fantastic and comfortable (king bed, small suite with balcony). The balcony was great to enjoy breakfast or a drink. Great restaurants, bars, and sight-seeing all within reasonable walking distance. We loved our first visit to Charleston and the Inn was a big part of it!

This hotel has such beautiful accommodations and friendly staff. Truly a wonderful place to stay with so many amenities. This is where you go to spoil yourself. The breakfast, wine and cheese before dinner, and milk and cookies with port wine before bed are so worth it. The greeting at check-in with champagne is an excellent touch as well.

Stayed here for 3 nights on first visit to Charleston. It used to a beautiful old but well restored building conveniently located near the city market and many attractions, and close to the free bus line . The service was impeccable. Staff were gracious , and we loved the morning breakfast, evening cheese and wine , and bedtime cookies . There used to be also a well equipped fitness center. Rooms are large and very quiet. All in all one of the finest places we have ever stayed.

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
