Excellent! I am an avid traveler who stays mostly at 5 star resorts I was elated with my stay . This boutique inn was a perfect location for proximity to town and wanting a private cozy Maine vibe . In my opinion it’s the best place I’ve stayed in Kennebunkport for my travel needs which are walking distance to town and a higher end feel and on the spot service . The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the room was very clean. The complementary breakfast was a bonus which included fresh fruit , in house fiestas and fresh baked goods . I highly recommend AWOL and would stay there again in a heart beat.

The room was not worth the price. The living room had 2 chairs and a very low futon in two of the main living spaces which were very uncomfortable. Tables only outside for breakfast no indoor dining unless you went back to your room. My mattress was lumpy, soft and uncomfortable. I was shocked that they didn’t provide a better sleeping solution…..need new mattresses. I’m still recovering! The shower gel was not hydrating and smelled like men’s bad cologne. It rained one day when we were there and no extra umbrellas were available in every room. The staff were very nice and helpful. The good thing is that it was walking distance to town, a real plus.

Super cute lil place to stay! It really is like you’re in the wilderness…but also right in town! Easy walk to coffee, eating, and shopping. Brandi was super kind and helpful with recommendations on where to eat and what to see. We didn’t even realize a lovely breakfast is included…we enjoyed that two mornings on the porch! Would definitely come back to this place and this town again!
