The best Bed & Breakfast in Napa! Several rooms available in the old Victorian mansion. A couple of special rooms in attached and detached outbuildings. The Carriage House is the nicest one with a large ADA accessible shower and huge Jacuzzi hot tub with a dual faced gas fireplace. This B&B is centrally located right near downtown Napa. Walking distance from restaurants and shops. This B&B is at the intersection of First and Jefferson streets, with quick access from Hwy 29. It sits directly across from the Wine Spectator. Excellent special daily hot breakfasts are included. Daily wine tasting hour at night. It is a comfortable spa-quality retreat while visiting Napa Valley or Sonoma. Excellent romantic ambiance! Excellent food! Excellent customer service from Lori! The very friendly owners, Blair and Carrie, even stop in regularly and serve the guests at wine hour or breakfast and chat. Best Bed and Breakfast that I have visited!

We spent a fantastic weekend with our friends at the 1801 First Inn. What a great place to stay! It is located only a few blocks from downtown and restaurants - a very easy walk. Lori greeted us on our first night, and showed us our rooms. She was very outgoing and made us feel right at home. Later that afternoon, Lori served us a glass of wine as she told us the history of the house and suggested things to do in Napa. The next morning, Laura greeted us for breakfast, and it was very good! Laura is funny and really made the dining room very inviting. That evening, we were lucky enough to meet the owner, Carrie, during the inn's happy hour. We all enjoyed talking to her as she is very personable. The next morning, we had another delicious breakfast made by Carrie's husband, Blair, who not only cooks well, but is also very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. Housekeeping staff is very kind, and what a fabulous job they are doing! Highly recommend the 1801 First Inn!!!

Super fun, central location for our Napa adventure. This huge house has old world charm. We stayed in a junior suite upstairs and loved the soaking tub, natural lighting, and fireplace nook—so cozy! The bed is comfy and room air flow/temp was perfect. Breakfast is a huge highlight!!! Three options per day, three time slots starting at 8:30a (good for 10a tastings!), and omg the coffee cookies and hot breakfast were so good. Wine tastings and cheese boards, plus port every evening? Honestly such a cool find. Will stay here on our next Napa visit!

My husband enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. The location is perfect. The grounds are lovely and have beautiful flowers. We stayed in one of cottages. Warm and cozy. It was spotless and peaceful. A Keurig in the room, and more clothing storage would be great. Breakfast was delicious. Laura is a gem- so friendly and kind. All staff we encountered were so nice and helpful. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to meet the owners during our stay. We would definitely stay in this lovely place again.
