We were the only guests for a 4-day getaway this month. We stayed at the Oxford Cottage, with a fenced-in patio, working fireplace and little kitchen. The cottage was wonderful, neat as a pin and cozy, with a specatular water view, from the patio and living room. The innkeeper was friendly and had good tips about places to eat and see. She served a wonderful full breakfast every day: from a fruit dish, to main dish to dessert, such as a muffin or cookies! The cottage was not only dog-friendly, but they also did not charge fee for our furry girl! The fenced in patio was a great place to sit out with her while reading and enjoying the view. We saw deer in the yard every evening, even an albino! The inn is a short drive to downtown Oxford, which has several nice places to eat, and is very convenient to Cambridge and Easton. There is a lot to see and do; we hope to go back.

My husband and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite. The room was very spacious, clean and had an amazing view. Mrs. Anne was welcoming, helpful and very nice. I felt like we were visiting family. I liked that the kitchen was available to us if we needed to store food in the fridge and we could grab wine glasses or a plate as needed. The grounds were well kept and a very relaxing atmosphere. I'm trying to find another reason to visit again.

One of the all around best places we have ever stayed. Our accommodations were beautiful and spotless, and the Innkeeper/Owner, Ann, couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. For anyone visiting Oxford, Easton, St.Michael's or just about anyplace on Maryland's Eastern Shore, this is the perfect place to stay!

A gorgeous property along Island Creek near Oxford MD. We arrived Friday afternoon and were warmly greeted by the owner Ann who showed us our room and gave us a tour of this amazing 1700's house. Our room was beautiful and quiet and we had a perfect two-night stay. Ann, a lifelong resident of the area went out of her way to make our stay perfect and served up two fabulous gourmet breakfasts. We highly recommend the Coombsberry and look forward to visiting again

We visited last summer for just one evening, as we were trying to save money but still get away for the evening. The Inn is absolutely lovely. We were quite comfortable in the Magnolia Suite and enjoyed seeing magnolia blooms outside our window. The quiet property set on the water made for a peaceful evening with champagne on the dock. Breakfast the next morning consisted of fresh blueberry muffins, yogurt and granola. Would love to return for another stay!

My husband and two daughters stayed at the Combsberry's guest cottage for a weekend in early June and loved it. The best part was our view out onto the green grounds, blooming magnolia trees, and serene creek abutting the lawn. We took full advantage of the amenities and canoed each morning before a delicious, hot breakfast. I highly recommend this as a relaxing and low-key weekend away.

My husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary at Combsberry in Oxford. The Carriage House is a stunningly beautiful small house. We were the only guests at this B&B and had free rein of the entire estate, hanging out on the pier, lying around in the hammock, just sitting on the front porch and reading, enjoying the sights of the Eastern shore of Maryland. We had a wonderful time and will certainly come back to Combsberry over the years of our marriage.
