Perhaps best described as a combination of the architectural styles of Gaudi and Frank Lloyd Wright, Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn is one of Costa Rica's preeminent boutique properties. This eco-friendly hotel rises gracefully above the beautiful Central Valley and offers striking views of the area's volcanoes, cloud forests and coffee plantations. It is renowned for its fine cuisine and elegant four-course dinners, creatively prepared from the bounty of its orchards and organic gardens.

So we only stayed at this great inn due to the need for a stop-over on the way to the North of the country but were hugely impressed by all we experienced. In common with pretty much every other place we visited during our holiday, the staff here were unfailingly welcoming, friendly and cheerful and couldn't to enough to make our stay enjoyable. While we only had a little spare time, our room have everything you could need, decorated in a traditional but pleasant style, with a great outlook onto the green and lush grounds. Dinner on the evening in the on-site restaurant was the highlight, with our waiter Luis being hugely attentive and taking time to make sure we had everything we could need (he also popped up at breakfast the next morning before we had to head off, and was again the epitome of warm and welcoming service). While, given where we were heading, we can't say we were sad to leave, we can say that everyone at La Finca Rosa Blanca did all they could to make sure that it's a place to which we would happily return.

We loved our stay at the Inn! Our room was beautiful and so clean! All of the food was delicious! The Coffee Connoisseur’s dinner was fabulous! The coffee farm tour was incredible filled with new information! We enjoyed the coffee detox treatment at the spa immensely. A great start to our Costa Rica vacation!

Only about 30 minutes from SJO airport but feels like you're in another world. Very rustic and unique. On a coffee plantation. Breakfast is included. No AC but didn't seem to hot in middle of August. Fans in every room. No TVs in the rooms. Breakfast is included. Afternoon coffee and cookie is also included. Wifi is decent. Didn't have any issues. Pool is not heated. The hot tub is a above ground unit. There is not too much to do on the actual resort. They can arrange for a lot of activities. It's probably best for 1-2 day transit stay leaving or going to the airport. It is a little pricey for transit stay but if you have money to burn this is worth a visit. Service is top notch. This hotel is stunning and an excellent way to start your trip in Costa Rica. It’s close to the hotel but you feel relaxed the second you arrive with the lush location. It’s so quirky and packed with character. It’s very comfortable and the service was excellent. The food is excellent. So fresh and tasty and good choice. The breakfast was delicious with a good varied menu. They had a children’s menu with fresh battered chicken, fish or tomato pasta so the kids were happy. The pool area is nice and relaxing with a hot tub. There’s some short walks with one being like you’re in a butterfly farm. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially to start your trip here.

Beautiful resort. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Not much to do other than the pool area but a great place to relax and unplug. Would dedicatedly definitely recommend. Also only about 20 minutes or so from airport so it's a great option when wanting to stay near San José 😀

Our trip to Costa Rica was especially memorable - Finca Rosa Blanca was beautiful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful interior of Costa Rica. The food was outstanding, and it was wonderful to dine and meet the other people who were staying there. The guest rooms and pool were also very welcoming and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Finca Rosa Blanca.

Our first trip to Costa Rica was to the magnificent, elegant property called Finca Rosa Blanca. We were given great attention by their lovely staff, enjoyed organic and fresh cuisine by their on-site chef and relaxed on the grounds of an amazingly lush gated property. We were so taken with the experience that we purchased the same trip to return the following year!

We stayed in Costa Rica at Finca Rosa Blanca, and the experience provided us with a top-notch hotel room, unique and elegant, with added benefits like spa treatments, horseback riding, dinners with wine and so much more. With the quality of the facilities and the courtesy of the staff, every effort was always made to welcome us.

My brother and I had the pleasure of staying at Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn in May. From the moment we stepped on the property we were treated not only as guest of the hotel, but also as a part of the Finca family. Our every need was addressed or taken care of with exemplary service. The room was very clean and the food was absolutely delectable. I plan to visit this resort again and again and again. We had a WONDERFUL time. From now on, I will utilize Luxury Link to make all of my travel arrangements. This visit proved that they recommend only the BEST!
