Reviews for Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Plantation & Inn

Rustic unique hotel.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Only about 30 minutes from SJO airport but feels like you're in another world. Very rustic and unique. On a coffee plantation. Breakfast is included. No AC but didn't seem to hot in middle of August. Fans in every room. No TVs in the rooms. Breakfast is included. Afternoon coffee and cookie is also included. Wifi is decent. Didn't have any issues. Pool is not heated. The hot tub is a above ground unit. There is not too much to do on the actual resort. They can arrange for a lot of activities. It's probably best for 1-2 day transit stay leaving or going to the airport. It is a little pricey for transit stay but if you have money to burn this is worth a visit. Service is top notch. Beautiful start to Costa Rica

This hotel is stunning and an excellent way to start your trip in Costa Rica. It’s close to the hotel but you feel relaxed the second you arrive with the lush location. It’s so quirky and packed with character. It’s very comfortable and the service was excellent. The food is excellent. So fresh and tasty and good choice. The breakfast was delicious with a good varied menu. They had a children’s menu with fresh battered chicken, fish or tomato pasta so the kids were happy. The pool area is nice and relaxing with a hot tub. There’s some short walks with one being like you’re in a butterfly farm. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially to start your trip here.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful resort. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Not much to do other than the pool area but a great place to relax and unplug. Would dedicatedly definitely recommend. Also only about 20 minutes or so from airport so it's a great option when wanting to stay near San José 😀

Lovely property with a few caveats

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

The Finca is a good travel stop and boasts an organic coffee farm and an emphasis on eco-tourism. It’s a lovely property and the rooms well appointed but please note - they do not have A/C. The food in the restaurant was quite good and an a la carte breakfast with a first course of fresh fruit is included with reservations. The only caveat is that dinner prices are expensive and higher than can be justified considering the cost of products and labor in Costa Rica. The coffee tour was quite interesting and the guide a fount of knowledge. Just be aware that in general there is a good climb up through the coffee plantings to the coffee roasting etc building.

Secluded and relaxing

We stayed in a villa for 3 nights and it was absolutely gorgeous, 3 balconies, lovely view and felt very secluded. The bed were super comfy and jacuzzi baths. The pool its big enough to swim in but also has thoughtful landscaping, a waterfall and a hot tub. The waiting staff were always very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and they were accommodating to swaps for my son. Would highly recommend.

Our trip to Costa Rica was especially memorable - Finca Rosa Blanca was beautiful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful interior of Costa Rica. The food was outstanding, and it was wonderful to dine and meet the other people who were staying there. The guest rooms and pool were also very welcoming and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Finca Rosa Blanca.

Our first trip to Costa Rica was to the magnificent, elegant property called Finca Rosa Blanca. We were given great attention by their lovely staff, enjoyed organic and fresh cuisine by their on-site chef and relaxed on the grounds of an amazingly lush gated property. We were so taken with the experience that we purchased the same trip to return the following year!

We stayed in Costa Rica at Finca Rosa Blanca, and the experience provided us with a top-notch hotel room, unique and elegant, with added benefits like spa treatments, horseback riding, dinners with wine and so much more. With the quality of the facilities and the courtesy of the staff, every effort was always made to welcome us.

My brother and I had the pleasure of staying at Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn in May. From the moment we stepped on the property we were treated not only as guest of the hotel, but also as a part of the Finca family. Our every need was addressed or taken care of with exemplary service. The room was very clean and the food was absolutely delectable. I plan to visit this resort again and again and again. We had a WONDERFUL time. From now on, I will utilize Luxury Link to make all of my travel arrangements. This visit proved that they recommend only the BEST!
