Amazing Stay! Can’t Wait to Return!
Fantastic place to stay for a couple, and for families. The guest rooms are well-appointed, clean and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Andrew and his team are AWESOME. Our kids loved the pool and the putting course. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The bikes were so fun to check out and the golf course is in great condition. Location is so close to downtown and also convenient to some great wineries and other eateries in the valley. Will definitely return!

Lap of Luxury!
From the moment we checked in we were treated with kindness and respect. The staff made us feel like royalty. There is a 9 hole putting and chipping area which along with everything else is well maintained. This is a very special place and we shall return for a longer stay. Next time though we would like to try the golf course too!

Wonderful experience
Our family had a wonderful stay at The Quail Lodge. This was our first time in Carmel and we found the hotel extremely quiet, comfortable, and enjoyable for our two sons who loved the pool, bikes, and the golf. When one of our son’s favorite stuffed animals went missing from the room the front desk staff and management did everything they could to locate and return his plushie which had gotten accidentally balled up in the linens. They really went above and beyond to locate our son’s plushie as they knew it was very special to him. We loved the quiet, family friendly atmosphere of the hotel and experienced a great blend of fun and relaxation. Thank you to all the hotel staff for maintaining such a lovely property, but a VERY special thanks to all the front desk and management staff who worked so hard to locate my son’s plushie, your kindness is something we will never forget. We definitely hope to return again in the near future.

Very special place
This is a truly wonderful property. We went with two other couples for my wife's birthday, and could not have been happier. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. The room was clean and spotless. And the staff was polite, professional, and prompt. Even the maintenance people were awesome. We had a dead battery. No problem...they gave us jumper cables and we were good to go. This is truly a beautiful, wonderful hotel.

A Fantastic Stay at a Legendary Resort in Carmel
This is a letter that I wrote to the General Manager/Hotel Director of the Quail Lodge and Golf Resort: Dear James, Thank you for the wine and delightful chocolates—such thoughtful touches! They truly made our stay special. The bungalow upgrade was stunning, and I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the evening by the fireplace, sipping that wonderful wine—it was pure bliss. My colleague and I agree this was our best stay in the Monterey area. The service was impeccable, and the attention to detail was unmatched. I love the golf course and rave about its condition and breathtaking views. I am already looking forward to returning in early April. The exact dates will follow soon. Thank you again for the exceptional hospitality!
