The suite was beautiful and having a room near the river was gorgeous. That's just where it stops. The food is disgusting. The best was the deli. Some amenities were unavailable. Also, shuttle services took forever. It's not worth what we spent

I have been to Sundance many times over the past 22 years, but the zip tour was the only time I've left really disappointed. For $150, I expected more. We've been on zip tours out of state, and for the same price, the other was much longer and more enjoyable. The views are incredible, but the zip tour itself was mostly the ride up the mountain. The equipment also felt old and clunky compared to our other experience. I regret the purchase, and the other group on our time slot expressed similar feelings: They had also experienced a zip tour somewhere else that was much better for a similar price. I'd do it again for maybe $30, but not for $150.

I struggled to figure out the kitchen situation with the rooms before booking. We booked a Sundance suite and my daughter booked a standard. The rooms were similar with suite being larger. The suite had an entryway, fireplace; 2 seat table, a larger kitchenette with mini fridge (tiny freezer--16 x 4ish?), 10 cup coffee maker, microwave, and a portable electric burner. The suite also had a small deck (with forest view) and a larger bathroom space with one sink and a large soaking tub. The pictures of a full kitchen on Expedia in the Sundance suite are wrong. The standard room did not have an entry, was a decent size with a fire place, small outdoor space (less of a view, 2 seat table, tiny kitchen ish space (mini fridge with tiny freezer, small microwave, and small coffee maker), and a smaller bathroom than the suite. There are walkways to get down to the Springs (spa pools) and restaurants (10 minutes walk downhill)--some of path lights off after 9:00 so bring flashlight if walking back. Fitness center is really only if you want a small weights room. Elliptical wasn't working, one treadmill, one ancient stairmaster elliptical hybrid that was in terrible condition. Tara, who taught my jewelry class was great--highly recommend! I have been taking silversmithing classes at various times over the years, so I know she is well qualified, but also a good instructor. We enjoyed the Owl bar and the Foundry for meals and drinks. The bakery items at the Sundance deli were good.

We had a wonderful experience with this zipline tour led by Jay and Chandler. It was a beautiful day on the mountain. It was my husband’s first zipline experience and he loved it. We would highly recommend trying out this tour at Sundance Resort for a nice, longer zipline experience.

This was a fun night out though it was extremely crowded. We were there to do a zip line, full moon tour. Others were there to simply ride the lift. Those just riding the lift had a 2 hour wait regardless of prepaying for their tickets. Those riding the zip line were luckier and were able to bypass the line. We’ve zip lined several times and honestly this was a very high price tag for what you actually get. Though the moon is always cool to see, the event missed the actual full moon by three days so I’m not sure why they call it a full moon tour? All of the workers were very kind and helpful and Sundance is undoubtedly a beautiful place though you can’t see much of the scenery at night. Overall, I wouldn’t do this particular zip tour again at just under 200.00 for the pair of us. IF I had the time to wait in line 2 hours, I could see the lift ride, which has a lower price tag, being a good date night. Make sure to get at the resort at least 30-40 min early as you will be directed to park very far away and then must wait to be shuttled to where you need to be.
