Granted this was a last minute trip and we did not do much research but hope this helps someone. First thing that rooms are SUPER small! There was a dresser and shelving that were locked and not useable (assume this was owners lockers) but it occupied A TON of space. So much so that two people could not walk by each other! The property is marketed as Ski In/Out but in reality this is more of a slope access as you had to grab your skis and then walk about 75 yards down a hill and over a bridge to get to the slopes. They will provide you slope slide locks if you dont want to haul them up/down the hill. Another issue, you cannot put any charges on your room! So you have to have a card with you which is super annoying! The front desk wasn't super helpful upon check-in. The property is split and we were in the building across the street. The directions provided lacked enough details to find the room or the ski lockers. Even called the front desk to ask for help locating and was told someone would come right over and never did. On the positive side, there is a shuttle that runs on demand and will run you to the Mountain Village gondola area or the market. The staff that ran that was super friendly. The hot tub(s) and pool were nice and towels were provided right next to them and there was a place to hang your robes.

I took our family of 6 to Mountain Lodge in Telluride for pre Christmas getaway. We have traveled to many ski resorts in Colorado and Canada. We stayed in a 4 bedroom cabin called Silver Glade. This cabin is ski in ski out and has the most incredible view of them all. The decor is very upscale and is exactly as pictured. The cabin is very spacious with wonderful beds and bedding. There is even a roll away bed that was also in master suite closet. Rooms are large!!! Full size kitchen that is perfect for families and has everything we needed! Even a wine bottle opener! TV is large and fireplace made the sprawling living room so cozy! The downstairs bedrooms were very roomy as well and shared a large bath. Towels and house keeping were all appropriate and accommodating. No need to do grocery butler as you can walk about 200 yards through well lit area to Market. Prices comparable to grocery stores in other states! Central heat works fast and efficient! Large humidifiers in room which is a must at this altitude! The View restaurant is close walk on property and food was great! I dealt with Mathew for transportation from Montrose airport and Michelle Noyes for booking this cabin! She listened to my request and immediately directed me to book Silver Glade Cabin as this one hit all my boxes. They are great!!! No reservations about this incredible jewel I have found in Telluride! Want to impress your family, book this cabin! Want to impress your wedding party, book this cabin! Want to have a phenomenal stay in Telluride? Silver Glade is it! Don’t forget to book sunset dinner at Allreds as well. We will be back!!! No regrets!

We love Telluride and have stayed in a handful of properties over the years. The Mountain Lodge is a beautiful property but there are pros & cons: Pros: The location is fantastic…onsite Ski Butler service, easy ski in, ski out access, a short walk to the local market as well as the gondola to Mountain Village and the town of Telluride. The View restaurant on property is excellent (especially brunch) and other amenities particularly their free shuttle, bellman, heated pool, & maid service are nice. The condos are also cozy with a true mountain feel and awesome gas fireplace. Cons: The condo unit we stayed in was very loud. We were directly across from the main entrance and could hear all the traffic and pool noise from our bedroom. Every time the heat kicked on the unit made a loud bang, every time the condo above us flushed the toilet it created loud suction noise in ours and, the walls are thin enough to hear conversations &/or movement in the condos above and next door. The water temperature in our shower was fickle…sometimes so hot you could barely stand it, other times ice cold regardless of the time of day. We were disappointed that the steam room was broken for a number of days with little explanation. Finally, we had a mouse friend in our kitchen who was not a welcome guest. All in all we felt this was a nice place, our unit just needed a little love and updating. Other condo units or homes may provide a completely different experience.

This is the fifth time I have visited this hotel. I had never had such an unpleasant experience as I did during this last stay. I visited with my family to spend the New Year holidays, and the prices are quite high for the season and the type of hotel we had previously visited. We made our reservation two months in advance, and when we arrived, we found that the room did not have a functioning television. As an NFL and college football fan, it’s a tradition to watch the games with my family and also watch some movies with my kids. As soon as we arrived, I noticed the issue and informed the staff about the malfunction. I even spoke with the manager on duty, who promised that they would fix the problem. I followed up constantly to check on the progress, but I never received a response. When I finally asked to speak again with the manager, he, with a very arrogant attitude, told me that the service would not be provided and that they were aware of the defect in the room. In the end, despite having paid full price im advance, the service was denied. Of course, they kept the hole payment. This is was my experience.
