I have stayed here multiple times over the past two years, and each visit has been a positive experience. The front desk staff is truly exceptional—helpful, kind, and welcoming every time. The rooms are a bit outdated, which is understandable given the age of the hotel, but they still offer a cozy, rustic charm that perfectly captures the North Conway vibe. If you're seeking luxury, this might not be the place for you, but if you're looking for an authentic, rustic North Conway feel, this hotel is a great choice. I look forward to my next visit!

We have been going to this hotel for years, it really needs some updating. The room did not have a hair dryer, had to go to the front desk to ask for one, they only started a fire in the fireplace in the lobby because it was requested. The coffee maker in the lobby was out of chai tea and hot chocolate. Breakfast was good, and Bobby was so cordial, checking in with all of the guests to make sure they had everything that they needed. Hopefully next year, our favorite spot has a face lift and is back to being the comfortable hotel that we know and love.

The hotel needs renovation. The entire property is tired and worn out. The ceiling in the guest room had bubbled, rotted and caved in over shower for a previous leak above. The bed was super squeaky. Old loud heat and a weird smell throughout. It is in good location- close to shopping and food. I wouldn’t stay here again. There are better less expensive motels nearby. I thought that since “choice hotels” purchased this property that it would be of better quality.

The staff was pleasant but the rooms are in need of some upgrades and mine was particularly dirty; stains on the mattress pad, trash left behind from the previous people who stayed here and the toilet was disgusting, urine stains, and dirt and hair all over the base and side of the toilet

The room was not cleaned well and the bed wasn't made right. The breakfast was fine, but you could've gotten the equivalent at many other hotel chains. The cost was $264 a night in early October. That's not what is advertised.
